Hahei Hideaway - Hahei Holiday Home

Amazing views, wake up for sunrise for some great colors over the bush. So relaxing sitting on the deck listening to and watching the birds. Beds were comfy and rooms are pretty spread out for privacy after a long day for rest. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners at home.

We had a car so wasn’t a problem for us, but the property is at the top of a steep hill.

This vacation home has a wonderful location with a fantastic view and proximity to the beaches and restaurants. It is also well equipped with bedding, towels, dishes, ample furniture and a washer and dryer.

I was unable to tell from the pictures or description that this residence is three separate buildings separated by a covered walkway and wooden deck steps. The main house has a full bathroom and laundry room. The middle building has multiple beds but no connected bathroom. The third building has two bedrooms with the only bathroom not connected to either bedroom, requiring guests to go outside onto the decking to enter the bathroom for this building. Two couples in their 70’s were using the house and this situation was inconvenient for the couple in that building. This should be represented in both the pictures and the description. (This bathroom had toilet paper rolls covered by tiny sugar ants in a small straw basket. We left this in a bag.)

we had problems with the wifi. couldnt get it to work for the first few hours of being there.

With very young children not easy as each room is in a separate unit.
