Underwelmed

The location was incredible, the view from the reception area was gorgeous

The bunk room was tiny and I could barely fit on the top bunk as the ceiling is curved and I hit my head on it a few times- and I'm not a large person. There was no towel provided so I couldn't shower. The bunk rooms were more like a hostel with people all around and the room was wet and messy. Very noisy during the night as people had alarms going off. Value for money was off, I was expecting something quieter, more spacious, and cleaner

I liked how cute and secluded it was. The views were also pretty great.

Bery disappointed that the cafe was closed with zero mention on the website. Also reception was closed every time we tried to go there. So had no contact with staff the whole time. And you had to pay extra to enjoy amenities. As well as: Phone number is wrong on Google No lighting outside at night time between cabin and kitchen / toilets No towels provided

The location was beautiful, the staff were kind and the yoga was fun! The bathrooms were dated but clean and looked after. The bedrooms were small but cozy.

The rooms had issues with ants in and out of power points. It felt generally unclean.

Maybe having a WiFi would help greatly the guests. In any case I got mobile data from Spark and it worked well there.

A great experience of eco living, very quiet ambiance. Relaxed vibe

An interesting eco camp experience. Lovely location with fabulous views and vibe. The cabooses look cool dotted around amongst tress and gardens. We stayed in the small earth dome . It was cosy. Warm, comfortable bed. The toilet was close

We did not encounter any staff nor was there any information about the facilities. But the key was left for us with a map to find our earth dome. The path between dome and path was uneven so care needs to be taken especially at night

A must stay!

I loved that our cabins were close to the communal area, the old school fire place we sat there and my family played the guitar that was there and sang songs , no TV was great cause we got to spend more time together, the view was beautiful and the sunset at manu bay down from accommodation and sunrise at solscape was so beautiful, rooms were warm and so cute, town was only 10mins away. Really enjoyed our stay thankyou

Honest Review – Amazing Views but Needs Improvement The location is great and the view from the top is truly incredible. However, I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay, and I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback. The place has a lot of potential, but it feels like it lacks proper maintenance. The kitchen had a bad smell, and the sleeping cabins had no power outlets — the only ones available were in the kitchen, and they were always being used. The number of bathrooms and showers was not enough for the amount of people staying there, and they weren’t very clean either. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and we had some cockroaches coming in through holes in our cabin (number 12). To make matters worse, the outside light of our cabin was broken, making it extremely dark and unsafe to walk at night — especially concerning for women, due to the lack of visibility. We also ordered a pizza from the café and spent over $60, but it came on a plate already sliced, with no fork, knife, or even napkins. When I asked for napkins, I was told they were looking for some, and I was handed a kitchen towel to clean my hands and mouth. That was extremely disappointing. For the price they charge, I expected something more structured and well-maintained. It feels more like a hostel with hotel prices.

Lovely hippiesh place with nature surrounding you. Wood heated sauna! 😍 What a treat! Yoga classes. Feels like being in more exotic location. Lovely view to the ocean. Nice outdoor lounges. Really chill place like Raglan in general, don't take this place too seriously and you'll be fine.

Location. On the other hand it's such a lovely surroundings that you don't need the town centrum but in reality you do. Especially for solo traveler. Luckily hitchiking worked. WiFi worked only near the reception. Kitchen was bit too small at times when busy. Too bad that the facilities hadn't recovered after covid yet cause the Cafe wasn't running and massage appointment didn't go through. Staff seemed also a bit unorganized.

Serenity, calm, rest, beautiful scenery, great momeny over there

The scenery, the people (clients and staff), the wagon cabins, the perfect access to the beach, the perfect walk to go to town, the common space, the bathrooms

Maybe the kitchen needs a little bit of improvement with the cooking furnitures but everything was okay to use, it was still good moments overthere cooking with everyone

This place is gorgeous. Great views perfectly located for a Raglan retreat. Cabins are cosy, bed was comfy with blankets and linen provided. Fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace.
