C'barn is a stunning location. Situated on a hilltop over looking the main swimming beach, C'barn has 360 degree views across the wild west coast, into the serene inner harbour and up to the majestic cloud covered slopes of Mt Karioi.
The perfect location for:
a peaceful retreat for two;
a great place for friends to gather and catch up;
a gathering of the extended family;
or a base for those who want the thrill of adventure.
Activities available in the area include surfing, swimming, golf, biking, kayaking, kite surfing and walking.
As the name suggests C'barn is a modern barn, built for the specific purpose of accommodation. North facing the barn is flooded with sunlight, incredibly spacious and with most of the comforts of home.

Only 4.9 kilometres to the bustling village of Raglan. A 5 minute walk to the main swimming beach, with plenty of other reserve or mountain walks available.

Dogs allowed with prior approval plus an extra $25 cleaning fee
Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

We are surfers, and we had an epic stay at the C-Barn. The area truly can’t be beat—location, location, location. The setting alone makes this place special, with easy access to the beach break and a short drive to Manu Bay. The space itself is incredibly charming and thoughtfully decorated, with a relaxed, stylish feel that made it easy to settle in. The details didn’t go unnoticed, with beautiful linens and a great thread count, making for especially comfortable nights.A couple of things to note for future guests: there isn’t a full working kitchen with an oven, so plan meals accordingly. There is a hot plate, a microwave, an electric skillet, and a crock pot. We also encountered some insects during our stay, but that’s fairly typical for the area and didn’t detract too much from the experience.Jean was a lovely host, warm and accommodating.All in all, a memorable stay in a truly special place.

This was an amazing stay. The accommodation is the very best of a Bach. And our host, Jean, was wonderful. Thoughtful, super-friendly, very quick with responses to questions or comments. The view from this property is amazing and adds to its relaxing vibe. There's a kitchen which enabled us to cook while there and a variety of places to relax. Raglan and the area was so fun and it's very chill. Lots of great walks, a surfer's paradise, and even though the town is really geared to tourists, it still maintains its charm. We would definitely recommend both the kayaking 3-hour tour and the sunset cruise on the bay. It was tough to leave this area and our bach. Amazing stay.

Perfect place ! Everything good except the kitchen equipment. Not enough for New Calédonia ( French ) people who like cooking!
