I liked everything,if we knew that they warm duvets we wouldn’t have packed ours.

The fact that the bicycles were locked and we couldn’t hire.

Pool is good but would be better if kids could put their heads under like you can at Lake Taupo Holiday resort. Loved the food and drink caravans, great idea to get coffee, ice creams and dinner. Signage and night lighting is great. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Kids liked the bike track. There is plenty of activities but note my comments below re at peak times. Loved the texts whilst there to let you know when things were open, eg coffee cart, ice cream caravan etc. The camp put on a free sausage sizzle which was well received and a nice NZ family park thing to do. Overall this is a great park to go too and has been upgraded a lot recently.

The queues for the pickle ball which was the highlight of what my kids wanted to do was a mission to get to use. There needs to be some form of queue system as little kids try and jump the queue and sometimes people have been waiting for an hour to get on. Probably needs to be more pickle ball courts, ideally 2 to 3 would be good as people come to this holiday park for families to do activities but its incredibly hard to get to do the activities. Too many people on a public holiday weekend to get onto activities. Kids were disappointed the peddle carts weren't going but understand now they aren't available in winter. The 2 bedroom unit we stayed in the deck never saw sun so I wouldn't stay in those again and the bunk beds were very narrow. With the camp growing accommodation wise, the activity options and availability also needs to keep pace as massive queues to get on things doesn't make for a good time for families. Even a bigger BMX track etc but ideally another pickeball court or two as this is the most popular activity. Perhaps beside the current one and move the ping pong table and petanque to the grass area.

Easy to navigate, found our cabin straight away. The natural hot springs were beautiful and rejuvenating. The whole atmosphere of the property was calming and refreshing I wish we could have stayed longer
