Not quite as we expected

It is a comfortable drive to Auckland airport. At first glace, appears spotlessly clean (but it is not quite).

It is really only a place you'd stay in 1 night to break up the journey towards somewhere else. Laundry facilities at an extra cost. The unit we stayed in had very limited cooking facilities.

Everything was perfect.we will book again.

The location is excellent, close to Highways 1 and 2.Free parking. We used this as a transit point during our trip,it's very convenient to get around. The environment was exceptionally comfortable. Everything was quiet.Seeing the flowers through the window makes us feel happy. The rooms were clean, which we were very satisfied with. The room was equipped with kitchen and bedroom amenities. And I must mention that two black cats in the motel were especially adorable. Although we only stayed for a short time, we had a lot of fun playing with them. The staff were also helpful, actively assisting us with the check-in and check-out process. As tourists, we had a very hassle-free experience.

Comfortable you won't regret it

I LOVED everything about this location I felt I was in a resort small and simple. Love the atmosphere of the water fountain they had as you enter. The room was perfect especially since my 17 year old daughter's bday was perfect. My teenage girls had their own bed , the bed was so comfortable I forgot I was on vacation I didn't want to leave the room honestly. The shower I don't know what filter they had if any but I felt I was being moisturized by the water my alone felt so nice and smooth. The kitchen was perfect, I love the patio which we enjoyed sitting out and just feeling the nice breeze while rocking on the chair they had.staff was so nice and sweet and very helpful with my needs during my stay.

Okay I don't know how the mosquito gets in the room but that was my only issue. I wish there was a way to keep them out, especially when you shower you have to kinda have to open the window in order to let the air out the bathroom but mosquitoes will come in one way or another. It wasn't bad but it got us.

A lovely chalet in lovely quiet and tranquil almost park like surroundings.

Lovely quiet rural location. No noise pollution or light pollution. Living rurally myself that is hard to find in accommodation.

It would have been good to have had the bin emptied. We were there for 2 nights and the bin was full on the first morning. It would have been helpful to either have it emptied or be told where I could have emptied it. My parking spot was taken by another unit on the second night we were there. It meant packing the car was a bit long winded as I had to walk across the deck of the chalet next door many many times as we had taken everything out of the car to ensure it was less attractive for a break in while at the Metallica concert.

A nice little get away

This nice and quite stay was just what we were looking for at nye! It had some nice facilities and since it was a lastminute booking, we’re very glad we were able to spend the night here. The two bedrooms were perfect and the shower was nice.

There are many mosquitoes and walls, curtains and ceilings are covered in smushed ones. Also quite some spiderwebs which could be a practical way to try to get rid of the mosquitoes, but not a very nice sight.

A very pleasant stay.

Lovely unit (in a group of 7 little houses around a central garden with a fountain! ), Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Plenty of room. Easy parking and easy access. Pleasant rural setting. Lots of birds about!

As a family parking next to our unit was helpful and the unit itself was spacious enough for our family of 5. Very lovely staff and very accomodating. The peace and quiet was a bonus!

I woyld stay in this cute cosy place again and it woukd bt the perfect venue for a celebration party or even a wedding.

It was a great off the track location, but so easily accessible to the motorway. The rooms were warm and cosy and the staff really catered to our needs.

If i was to offer one improvement it would be that you add unit parking to the bottom units. Having said that, it was a small walk to the park. When you are booked out we just squeezed in.

Hair All over bathroom tiles and the bin hadn't been emptied from previous people. There was blood on a cushion and the bedding was tired and very creased.

Very clean, we got there a bit late but it was easy access, host organised where the key would be beforehand and how to get to our room/house Cosy, warm, had all that we needed. Very accommodating

Beautiful place - absolutely loved our stay

This property is so beautiful, set on a gorgeous serene landscape, has fountain going. On a beautiful day we got to sit on the veranda enjoy cup a tea or have lunch and watch the morning go by. Everything is clean, smells fresh, plenty of towels and even better staff who greeter us with smiles every day. Catherine and her staff are just amazing and provided and outstanding service and assistance. We were here to see family and elderly mother. Location is perfect its like a wedding venue so pretty but very close to airport yet out in country, close to shops and restaurant’s. Has wifi, Netflix and Prime we got to watch movies. I have just booked my September stay here thats how much we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were friendly. Even the resident cat. Whose name I forgot 2 bedroom was stunning. Rooms weren’t very spacious but comfortable.
