A nice city break

Very nice and responsive host. The place was beautiful and clean and the terrace amazing (unfortunately we could not use it because the weather was not on our side). The bed was extremely comfortable. Pretty close to the city center, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Very nice view.

'The View' apartment lives up to its description and provides an excellent base in Veliko Tarnovo

I can recommend renting this property. It is secure, of good proportion, and well equipped. There is everything you need except, perhaps, a second saucepan! There is an excellent terrace, and as the apartment is on the top floor of the building it has a great view towards the city and fortress. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable. It is only a two minute easy walk to the centre of the town. All descriptions on Booking.com are accurate.

Do not be put off by the slightly 'urban' situation of the building, it is a fairly densely populated area. There is car parking for a fee beneath the building but we parked in the narrow street outside. I have to admit we did sometimes worry whether there would always be a space for us, but there always was just the one. There is no dishwasher, but this is not a fault; there would not be room in the neatly appointed kitchenette. The bed is queen size but the linens are only just big enough, and the bath towels could be bigger. Maybe I am spoilt at home!

Great stay, highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed the great location and the terrace with its stunning view. The free Wi-Fi and coffee capsules throughout my stay were a nice touch, and the kitchen had everything I needed, including spices. Pets are welcome, and the dog playground next to the building was perfect for my furry friend. Highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

Good stay in Veliko Tarnovo

Very good apartment. Clean, with a big terrace overviewing the Tsarevets citadel, we saw the Saturday night lights show from the terrace with the sparkling wine offered by the host on the very green terrace, good coffee machine, tea, sugar, all You need for a longer stay, for cooking, the silence, the parking, host disponibility and englis level. The second toilet is a good bonus, the park for the dogs, the supermarket, the underground parking...

I really don't find anything serious to complain about.

A lovely decorated and well-equipped apartment with a spectacular view! A perfect stay! We loved it!

Excellent location, spectacular view, a designer apartment decorated with passion, lots of art, simply fantastic We spent most of the time outside chilling on the terrace and enjoying the view The well-equipped kitchen, appliances, cutlery comfy beds and an elevator with easy access the internet connection and the desk were perfect for home office a supermarket right next to the entrance useful tips from the host about what to see and where to go The kids enjoyed playing with puzzles and building blocks Plenty of interesting books to read in several languages The hosts even treated us to Easter eggs breakfast! Much appreciated! The kids loved the painted hard boiled eggs! I highly recommend this place! We will definitely book it next time we are in Veliko Turnovo!

Excelent. Worth booking...

The location is excellent, close to the center, a very well stocked shop (at the partner of the building) and a park. You can reach the central area in a maximum of 10-15 minutes of walk. The apartment located in the newer area of the city and on the 7th floor, is clean, bright, spacious, the big terrace offers a unique view of the surroundings and because is full of plants is ideal for drinking coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Fully equipped, we didn't miss anything (fridge, microwave, oven, stove, vacuum cleaner, iron, Tv crockery and cutlery and even slippers :)). The wifi is also excelent. Beside the matrimonial bathroom, the service toilet with WC is also useful. The host is extremely polite, proactive, responsive and friendly. We had coffee throughout our stay and a bottle of champagne was waiting for us in the fridge. Upon arrival, the host gave us a quick and useful tour of the city where he showed us on the map the restaurants and places worth visiting. The beds with overlapping mattresses were very comfortable, our little girl also had Lego to play with, so the location is also very suitable for a family with children. We parked underground for a small amount of 5 eur/night (with easy access by elevator), we probably would have found a spot nearby after many attempts, but the streets are narrow, sloping and a bit crowded because of the a residential area.

Recommendation: Some lamps in both rooms with a night light for reading would be greatly appreciated.

Exceptional

It was a very beautiful apartment, with so many pretty flower pots on the terrace garden. The view from the rooftop terrace showed the famous fortress and the Yantra River. Our host was the best ever because he came out with his car to meet us, and even to send us to the bus station (we had huge carrier bags). And he gave a suggestion of good restaurants and sightseeing places. We just stayed for two nights but wished to stay longer because we liked it so much. I recommend it with confidence.

The city itself is situated along the hillside, so there are many stairs,.especially if you arrive there by bus from Sofia. Even though the apartment is very close from the bus station, the access is a bit tough when you have a heavy bag. Other than that, everything is perfect!

Exceeded my expectations

The property really exceeded my expectations. Very warm welcoming - the host talked us through all the important things we had to know about the city and the area. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the bedroom is separated which is always a bonus and there is amazing art by the host. The terrace is amazing (although the weather was bad), very well taken care of - with areas to sit and a variety of flowers. We also watched the light and sound show from there. We travel with an English Bulldog and it is always a challenge to find a pet friendly place. This is not only the best pet friendly place we have visited, but is one of the top we have been to at all. Will come back next year for Tarnovo Ultra Running 2024.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen had everything needed, the balcony is enormous, very beautiful view. There is a garage for the car if you can’t find a place to park. There are two toilets which is also a plus. I loved the bed and the sofa!

The apartment is very comfortable and is very well located with a wonderful terrace and spectacular view. We were very well received with lots of informations about the city. Host is available in case of problem and responsive. A big thank you for this welcome. We really enjoyed our stay.

The view from the terrace is fantastic. The host was very kind. We have a 2 year child and we find there a lot of games, that was awesome. There is a playground at 10 min by walking. AC units in both rooms.

amazing location

Love the location, super close to the center but quiet. It was about a 10 min walk to the old town and 20 to the fortress. Great terrace to view the light show. Coffe machine with complimentary capsules and a bottle of sweet spumante as a gift. Shower is warm and powerful. 2 toilets. Large kitchen area fully furnished :) The hosts are quick to answer all questions via whats up. Smooth check in.

Small detail but there are no black out curtains. For somebody like me that was hard as I really can only sleep in the dark, at at 5 am the light started to rise. The bed is very soft, not my style but I know it will be for many people.
