First off, the price is absolutely fantastic. I booked the apartment hours before arriving, and I found it still on an amazing price. The location is great, with it being in the old town. Another great bonus is that, even though the apartment is in the old town, you have a guaranteed parking spot, and it is free of charge. Parking in that area is very hard to find. The apartment has a beautiful, large balcony, with a spectacular view over the Tsarevets fortress and the surrounding hills. We were within walking distance of everything interesting in the old town. The fact that check in is permitted up to 23:00 is also a very welcome bonus. The host has been very kind and responds very quickly to messages. He provided us with a very clear and informative set of instructions for the check in.

Driving through the historic center all the way to the apartment is a bit of an adventure, especially when it rains, or there is traffic. Everything was eventually fine, but it's something to keep in mind. The parking spot is right in front of the house and you can basically see your car from the balcony, but there are parts of the road that are in really bad shape. This has nothing to do with the apartment itself or the host, but it's good to know. Also, even though this is listed as an apartment, for those of you that want to prepare something in the kitchen, there is no stove or oven.
