Perfect and very clean!

The accommodation was excellent, everything was spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful view of the fortress, it was so beautiful, words can’t describe it. We were very happy to have access to a covered parking space. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back with pleasure!

Absolutely amazing

The apartments are very spacious, clean, cozy, warm and in a quiet area. The popular tourist attractions are nearby in a walking distance, as well as most of the restaurants. The biggest advantage is that there is an underground garage and parking area, which is something rare for the city.

Just a small thing – the 3 pm check-in was a little inconvenient and earlier would have been better.

in general good experience but would not stay more than 1-2 days because of the beds and electricity

the electricity went off around 11 pm and it was not good experience, since wifi went off etc, if that happens often you need to bring portable batteries and lighter. the beds are not very comfortable old type of mattresses

Great location, new and well maintained property. Apartment we rented was spacious, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, all kitchen equipment you may need. Vending machines with coffee refreshments and snacks, prices are very affordable. Great host! Introduced us to key places to visit. Meal recommendations were perfect!

Great vacation stay

Everything. It is clean, comfy, nice views, has all you need in a vacation home, and it has parking which is a big plus in veliko. The staff is really friendly and accommodating.

The heating system is electric and it dries the air, but nonetheless, it is a plus to have heating in the first place 🙂

Historic city stop over

The property request that you notify them upon your arrival in Veliko Tornovo because they are not full time person at the reception desk. However, doing this you do not have to wait endlessly for check-in. I liked that you could hear the river from my balcony and walking around the river beach area ( access to river is a bit hidden) no tourist though so that was great. If you are not mobility challenged, like myself, it is an easy stroll uphill to the town center. I did it and had insta-regret as my knees ached for the remainder of my stay. Not for mobility challenged people and public transit is not readily available either. The saving grace is the elevator. Rooms are spacious and easily maneuverable for disabled individuals.

Not close to public transit, not close to train station. Only one train out at zero dark thirty, it was difficult to arrange a taxi for the early departure on train but was able to do it ( hours to arrange) with Alex OK taxis and I paid 10 Bulgarian Lev.

Modern spacious apartments in the old town within walking distance of the fort

These are beautiful apartments in the old town of Veliko Tărnovo and as soon as we pulled up outside in the car we had a good feeling as the exterior was also very attractive. The apartments were spacious and modern and had everything we needed. There were great views out of the windows and balcony and the apartment had AC as well. The owners were very helpful and friendly which is always a good sign. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The apartments are very well located in order to walk over to the fort and church (5-10 minutes away) as well as into the town. We shopped in a couple of the local food shops in order to support the local businesses.

We recently enjoyed a memorable stay at Tarnovgrad Apartments in Veliko Tarnovo. The two-bedroom apartment with terrace exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and was fully equipped with every amenity one could hope for during a city break. What particularly stood out was the prime location - it's conveniently situated within a short walking distance to notable attractions like Tsarevets, as well as some of the best museums and restaurants in the city. Our time there truly enhanced our experience in Veliko Tarnovo. We can't recommend it highly enough!
