A beautiful classic apartment with two bathrooms in a very good location

Very well located property with workable parking. The apartment is nicely set up and Guy, the host most helpful. Also we left a necklace behind which Guy immediately notified us about, and sent to us. We are most grateful if his honesty.

Guy was a great host. Communicated with us from the start. Met us at the apartment and showed us around!! Perfect apartment for a girls trip.

Not many places in France have it but AC would be awesome. The fans were great though.

Beautifully furnished and comfortable apartment in an ideal location

The apartment is very well-situated in the Old Town, just round the corner from the restaurants of the rue Colbert and the main shopping street of the rue Nationale. The Place Plumereau is just a ten-minute walk away in one direction, as is the Cathedral in the other, and the River Loire is just at the end of the street. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was probably the best-equipped of any apartment I've stayed in, with every kitchen utensil you could need, ample cutlery and crockery, and a superb oven and cooking range. Our daughters enjoyed playing the board games left for the guests, and although we didn't use the television, the wi-fi connection was perfect. Two sets of keys were provided, which was very helpful, and is actually quite rare. The communication with the owner was very good and he responded very quickly to any questions we had. Excellent all round!

Wonderful apartment near the grocery, restaurants and sites!!!

A beautiful apartment owned by Guy. We met him at 4pm in front of the apartment and he showed us the unit and even carried some luggage in for us! Very kind Guy! The apartment has a wonderful kitchen for cooking if you like to cook and is well stocked with kitchen utensils. The windows are wonderful to open and provide a cross breeze and for people watching on the street below. The bedrooms are adequate in size and the shower in each room is very nice. The beds in each bedroom are comfortable. The apartment is an easy 1 minute walk to the grocery market. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The river is a nice place to walk near the apartment and we were able to find free parking there every day. Just a fantastic place to stay and Guy was a great person.

Thoughtful host, clean apartment but a few challenges

Apartment was clean and well equipped. Thoughtful touches throughout. Close to grocery and restaurants. Host was very nice and helpful.

Lots of homeless and street folk in the area. Noises late at night. Says two bathrooms but only one toilet. For three older women these were challenges. Washer/dryer combo were difficult to work. But that may be our lack of understanding

Beautiful apartment in lively Tours

Beautiful, colorful and well furnished apartment in historic building very near to Loire river and street with many restaurants, supermarket and bakery. Convenient spot for making trips along the Loire Valley. The ancient center of Tours is very lively and in the evening the riverside is very nice to see the parties and gatherings.

The handling of the toilet door lock was a bit noisy for the nearby bedroom, but when used with care no problem.

Como en casa en el centro de Tours

Estupendo alojamiento, bonito, muy espacioso y cómodo, en un edificio antiguo y muy céntrico, con mucho encanto. El salón/cocina/comedor es una estancia grande y luminosa, decorada con gusto. Se puede aparcar en la calle con relativa facilidad, aunque es zona de pago.

Por decir algo, el apartamento está en un primero sin ascensor, por lo que las escaleras son algo incómodas para subir y bajar maletas.

Die Austattung der Wohnung ist super, für Familien aber auch 2 Paare geeignet. Super Lage, nur wenige Meter bis zur Loire und in die Stadt. Die Querstrasse in ca. 100 Metern Entfernung bietet viele kleine internationale Restaurants und Kneipen für jeden Geschmack. Mehrere Supermärkte fußläufig erreichbar.
