Nice vila to stay with a family

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, authentic villa in Bali with our family (7 persons, kids 19-28 years old). The villa is spacious, clean, and the private pool is very well maintained—perfect for relaxing. The overall atmosphere felt peaceful and well taken care of.

We did notice that the white walls in the bathroom looked quite worn and could really use a fresh coat of paint. Also, the view was less impressive than expected due to a new villa being built nearby and some large plants that now block part of the scenery. Still, we truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it, especially for families looking for a calm and comfortable place to stay! Also the staff very helpfull all days

Big space great for families

We stayed here before and love the fact it’s a little bit close to nature. It’s great being out of the ubud craziness. It’s rustic and we love that. Staff are fantastic and so willing to help and be available for questions.

There is a villa being built next to the pool and this meant there was noise during the day and workmen always looking over at us in the pool. I am sad that this will now partially block the view. For this reason we won’t be back again as the view was a real highlight and strong reason we chose the villa. Unfortunately Bali is all about development and this comes at a price. We find the overdevelopment to be very sad.

Great family vacation.

Great experience for us. We love our 3-night stays. We had great time swimming in the pool watching the sunset. Except for a lil hiccups like the sound of a gecko unexpectedly at night 😆 but it’s okay. We are used to all kind of insects & animals. One proposal, do install washing machine or even dryer. We expected a washing machine included tho but none. Maybe should consider install one 😜 We will come back again!

The location is a bit of a shocker if you want to eat out .. it was always a 15 min cab ride for food . The accommodation also hadn’t been maintained to a high standard.. a good paint and regular pressure cleaning will do wonders

Magical setting to wake up in and your own infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies, wow!

It felt like we walked onto a movie set - you wouldn't guess this was here when we pulled up. It felt surreal, even after three nights I was still pinching myself! Love how two traditional Javanese cottages have been modernized and tastefully renovated just enough to have all the conveniences (beautiful big ensuites, a/c, etc) but you definitely feel like you're in Bali! The infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies was dreamy. Appreciated the filtered water dispenser and our villa manager found us a plug convertor. Great quiet location if you're more interested in the many attractions around Ubud as we were than hanging out in busy central Ubud. Keep in mind with the crazy traffic it takes a lot longer to get anywhere than it looks on the map.

I'd recommend claiming a Google Business listing so that Villa O'Hea is searchable in Google maps. It looked so beautiful in the photos I was willing to take the chance, but the property didn't really exist outside of Booking.com so I was nervous it was too good to be true when I booked. Perfect if you have a car and driver or have hired scooters as there's parking outside, which is pretty rare in Ubud. But not a lot of options (or any?) within walking distance if you don't, so it would be nice to offer even a continental breakfast option to be delivered.

Family Stay in Ubud amidst lush rice fields - pure bliss!

The picturesque setting of this Villa is superb! We loved being able to explore all the tourist attractions and markets and then come back to our own tranquil retreat!

We enjoyed the rural setting, but it is not within walking distance from any shops.

Les draps étaient tachés malheureusement sur plusieurs endroits et dans les chambres nous avions une odeur de renfermé et de moisissures dû certainement à des infiltrations d’eau dans les salles de bain rattachées.

Draußenbereich sehr schön und naturnah gestaltet, aber alles sehr offen (Achtung tierreich)

Die Lage war sehr schön an den Reisfeldern gelegen und es gab super schöne Sonnenuntergänge. Die Unterkunft ist sehr naturnah. Das heißt, dass man eine tolle Erfahrung hat (wenn man keine Angst vor Tieren hat). Trinkwasser wurde bereitgestellt und die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Unterkunft war vor allem draußen schön gestaltet.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb gelegen. Wer sich mit Fröschen, Geckos, Mücken und allen möglichen Insekten nicht wohlfühlt, sollte die Wahl überdenken. Das Bad ist offen, was bedeutet, dass alle Tiere reinkommen können! Abends gibt es ein Konzert der Insekten. Wer das nicht möchte, ist hier falsch. Es waren leider keine Moskitonetze vorhanden. Drinnen ist es eher dunkel und altmodischer.

Het uitzicht over de prachtige rijstvelden! Schoonmaak was erg goed. En de authentieke uitstraling van het huisje.

Ontbijt tegen betaling was niet in verhouding met wat je kreeg. Beter ontbijt bestellen via Grab. Zwembad was erg troebel. Bodem kon je niet zien. Het meubilair was niet heel comfortabel. Het huis ligt in een omgeving waar ook een hondenasiel is. Die hoor je dus al om 6.30 uur blaffen. Ook is deze kant van Ubud niet de mooiste en moet je door Ubud heen om naar veel mooie plekken te kunnen (en dat kost veel tijd).
