The overall stay was average.

We were assigned a private villa which was nice n spacious however it was 150 metres away from the property itself. The pool in the main property was nice. The staff were generally very attentive & responded to all messages over WhatsApp quite promptly.

Since the villa was not part of the main property plot, it felt disconnected & somewhat unsafe specially during the nights since we were with a young child. The neighbouring villas were of random locals & not hotel guests. Breakfast was average.

Gedong Suite

This stay was truly outstanding! The combination of luxury and tranquility at a superb price point is unbeatable. The Gedong Suite is one of the most luxurious accommodations I have ever stayed in. It is constructed entirely of magnificent, high-quality wood, creating an atmosphere of opulence that felt like a palace. The comfort was unmatched: the pillows and mattress were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in my life, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom is incredible, featuring a stunning copper shower and bathtub and the provided beauty products are of the highest quality. For those who don't consider the monsoon a limitation, this is the perfect rainy afternoon refuge. Furthermore, breakfast on the veranda is a pure pleasure; the fruit smoothie is a must-try. The staff is highly professional, and the shuttle service to the city center is a convenient bonus.

Lovely tropical surrounds highly recommend for price

Loved the staff, the room, the surrounds, pool was terrific. Close to ubud, hire scooter or driver.

Would prefer to have a restaurant instead of eating in room. Would be good if there was a small table and chairs in room as they have enough space so you could eat there.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay while enjoying time in Ubud.

Staff were very accommodating & eager to please. Breakfasts were fabulous. Pool was a good temperature and the rooms were well appointed.

The kitchen was not well equipped with crockery and cooking equipment or utensils. We had to ask for teatowels and a sponge to wash the dishes & there were not enough glasses for our group. The staff were very obliging and quick to bring what we needed upon asking.

Relaxing and magical.

Beautiful grounds either a wonderful modern take on traditional Balinese style. Offerings were left out at the temple on the grounds, stunning pool with waterfall and koi pond. Staff were super friendly and attentive and keen to help out.

Didn't enjoy moving 3 times for a 3-night stay, won't stay at Aryaswara Villa again.

Our driver and the other staff were great.

Our room had multiple issues, we had no power when we checked in, and the pool was green. We had to move rooms to main villa the next night, on the 3rd day we moved back to our original villa and the pool was half empty with still power issues. We were not happy, and they moved us again to Arya Villa near buy, it was terrific however we booked a 3-bedroom villa with separate bathrooms, and our second and third location only had 2 bedrooms therefore 2 of us had to share even though we paid for separate rooms initially. I believe the property was faulty from the very start and were just another booking to get revenue. Also, breakfast was delivered at the first villa as the villa was located a short drive away from main reception and facilities, it felt very isolating and the quality of the breakfast was average compared to the second day when we had to move the main villa for the second night.

Not extremely bad tho, considering the price

Pool and garden

Rooms pretty dirty and old. Bad lightings in the room (with even cold lights) and antiquate electrical system. Geckos in the room near the bed for 3 nights (they play loud sound during all the night even if are not dangerous). I selected the clear option “Pay at the property in cash” when booking on Booking, but two days before my stay they started sending me messages saying they would take the prepayment from my card, and that’s exactly what they did. The room was located under some kind of office or kitchen, and every morning we were woken up by people walking around and making noise from above. The staff’s English is quite poor. Sometimes, when you speak to them, they understand only what they want to understand, and sometimes it’s completely different from what you actually said.

Wonderful villla, super friendly, super helpful staff, made our first visit to Bali stress free!

Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Free shuttle into Ubud. Airport transfer at reasonable rates. Breakfast fantastic, with different choice every day delivered to villa at time requested. Pool, small but clean and well maintained. Jungle living, you do have to share your living space with a few lizards, frogs and squirrels, but coconut trees and jungle views from every aspect of the villa more than makes up for it. Super comfy sun loungers. 2 dinning tables, 1 in main area, 1 under pagoda. Living area “outdoors” but completely dry. Outside shower in main bedroom. Hot shower in the rain was an experience. Good A/C. Easy contact with reception via WhatsApp. Very good WiFi signal. TV in bedrooms, but not used. Very easy for Grab to find villa. About 20 minutes (3-4km) taxi into centre, or free shuttle at set times. Towels changed daily. Cleaning daily if requested. Beach towels provided. Toiletries provided in all bathrooms. Kitchen facilities basic but good enough. Easier to order lunch on Grab than make it yourself. Supermarket within 5 minutes walk. But on a road without pavement.

Not complaints, just info to help future guests… If you’re after a modern villa, this isn’t it. You will need to use taxi’s / Grab to get anywhere, but it’s dead easy via app, never waited more than 5 mins for car to arrive. Traffic in Ubud is crazy.

Very comfortable and quiet stay.

The hotel was beautiful, the gardens were breathtaking, the rooms were incredible. The staff was always happy to help and very friendly. The free shuttle service into Ubud was very convenient. It was very quiet there at night, which is also a big + for us.

Great experience

The women who work at this property are truly its greatest strength: kind, helpful, and highly competent. The property offers a daily shuttle service to Ubud (about 20 minutes away), and if needed, the staff will gladly help you arrange a taxi. Although the bathrooms are open-air, the place is generally clean. Given that the property is surrounded by nature, it’s normal to come across some small insects. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely come back!

We had a few communication problems with the staff, the extras are very expensive, and as they don't have kitchen in that hotel, it take a few minutes (20-30 minutes for smoothie) to be served

Lovely place

We loved the architecture and the care to detail of the building. The pool was super convenient for the children and as we spent Nyepi (Silent day) there, it was a great addition to be able to have and be around. We enjoyed the rooms and the semi-open spatial arrangement, although it could be quite scary for people who are afraid of bugs, frogs and insects. We had fantastic 5 nights there.

We loved our villa with its private pool, although it was huge for a family of 5 and rather expansive for this purpose. We just used two of the rooms and never even went to the one below. It was a bit uncomfortable that we were separated from our children who would wake up in the middle of the night and be afraid from bugs (the end of rainy season) and make their way to us and wake us up but I suppose the purpose of the design is form separate couples rather than a big family with small children. We didn't enjoy the dinner which we had to order since we arrived late and were quite hungry . There's very little vegetarian options too.

Fabulous 6 day stay

A beautiful hotel, with a free shuttle into Ubud. We had breakfast and evening meal options and the food was fabulous. Very comfortable room and bed, with a gorgeous boutique bathroom. We stayed for 6 days and loved every minute. Staff so helpful and friendly.

Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable!

We loved the pool and our private villa. There was plenty of space, a personal patio, and huge bathroom with tub. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning and it was great. Quick scooter ride away from the Ubud town center.

Family Villa was not near the facilities. In a bad area so we couldn't walk anywhere to find local food or coffee as the road was very busy with no restaurants so you have to rely on hotel for everything

The property we stayed is a 3 bed room villa which a bit far from lobby for which they provided enough transportation from the lobby and transportation is also provided for restaurant and other things within aryaswara if needed for no additional cost Coming to the 3 bed room villa we stayed the place was good with bali vibe surrounded by lush green trees and crops and a swimming pool and all amenities needed. The staff were friendly and helpful with all arrangements needed. grab was available for food and other things. Bikes were also arranged by the staff at additional cost which is very helpful.

coming to drawbacks the place had lizards and bathrooms were a bit open to nature leading to more lizards and dust. the water pressure was low and the pool had dust and leaves that could due to the trees and open area but a net can be provided to clean it

Great Room size and very very clean , also the bathroom just great. LOVLY view from our veranda to looking swimming pool and sunrise. The pool so clean and perfect size for laps swim. Great balance breakfast between fruits and French croissants with scrambled eggs and great fresh orange juice. Yummy.

Night time light in the garden should be less too bright .
