This hotel is a true hidden gem, surrounded by an incredible variety of lush trees and endless shades of green, offering the perfect place for deep relaxation and reconnection with nature. From the moment you arrive, you don’t just see nature — you feel and experience the magical spirit of Bali in every corner. Every spot feels thoughtfully designed and effortlessly beautiful, making it a dream for Instagram photos. The atmosphere is peaceful, inspiring, and almost unreal. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and respectful, always making sure we felt cared for. Small details made a big difference, like the four bottles of water left in our room every day. The restaurant felt like something out of a movie — surrounded by the forest, with stunning red fish swimming nearby, delicious meals, and an atmosphere that made us feel completely lost in nature’s magic. This place gave us one of the most relaxing and memorable experiences of our lives. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!

personnel was amazing, helpful and kind. communication with them was excellent. food was good. my accommodation was everything i needed and the garden inside the resort was magical. havent used the pool due to heavy raining. in general it is a great stay for the price they offer

locationwise - its rather outskirts of ubud but it takes 10mins by grab to downtown

The hotel is beautiful and it has so much potential. We booked the villa and it was very spacious, tv with Netflix and YouTube already logged in, beautiful view, it was almost perfect for what we needed to rest a few days. The floor was always very clean to walk barefoot.

We were expecting a different service for the kind of hotel it is. There was always something missing and we always needed to ask for something. When we arrived we had 3 Towels each (one big, one medium and one small), when then we asked to change the towels because we stayed for 5 nights, they only replaced the big one and left us with only 1 towel each. The sink in the toilet was leaking and it made a huge stain on the floor, they came to fix it the first day but it still leaked and we stayed with water on the floor during the remained of our stay. When we arrived the water in the bath wasn’t draining but then it was fixed quickly. We also had breakfast included and I’ve called them in advance to advise them that I am vegan and they told me there was no problem. I also remind them at check in and same, there is no problem, until I actually went to have breakfast and the staff and the restaurant was completely unprepared and everytime I told them I’m vegan they direct me to the gluten free menu. I had to tell them every day about my avocado toast (which btw was soggy and not toasted at all) no egg, no cheese and no ham. Every day I got a different order and one day it arrived with egg. For this kind of restaurant the level of the service is very low. We always had to ask for a cutlery missing or a spoon or something else. For what we paid and for whatever it supposed to be is not worth it. We received a better service in Indonesia in hotels when we paid way less and local warung more accommodating even when they don’t speak English. Lastly, I had an injury on my foot and I told at reception if I could have a beg of ice to put on my foot, they brought me a glass of ice. It was frustrating because everyone speaks English but they don’t seem to understand. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they would improve their service.

Everything from rooms to restaurant! The restaurant Wedja is magical ! Fountains , greenery amazing food ! Rooms are spacious with bathtub in open ! Staff is amazing too

The resort is beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, I’ve rarely slept so well in a hotel! The open air bathroom is clean and they offer a lot of amenities. The room also felt very cozy. Overall a great stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and when texting with them on Whatsapp they reply immediately. It’s just outside the city centre, so it allows for a bit more quiet after having spend the day in the centre of Ubud :) In conclusion, I loved it. Again, the staff were also simply super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful wooden houses in lush greenery, a simply stunning place for privacy. Excellent restaurant and a small flower garden, a lake full of lotuses. I love it!

An attempt to take a bath failed after an hour and a half of trying to fill it with hot water. The hot water ran for about a minute, and then became just warm. Was frustrating.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort in Bali. The entire property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well organized. My villa was immaculate, and the swimming pool was both clean and stunning — perfect for relaxation. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful and serene, making it an ideal place to unwind. What truly stood out was the staff: always kind, welcoming, helpful, and smiling, which made me feel genuinely cared for. The restaurant was gorgeous, offering delicious food and exceptional service that exceeded my expectations. Overall, this resort provided the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bali.

The pool overlooked the rice fields so it was nice to contemplate the surroundings while swimming. Set in a lush garden the accommodation in a Joglo felt special and comfortable with the sounds of nature as a backdrop. The restaurant has an extensive menu of delicious food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff was kind and warm. Breakfast was a highlight, such a beautiful garden and amazing food every morning. We did the ATV, which was amazing. the hotel booked us a very good place. Overall the room was cozy with all amenities.

It's a boutique resort built around the iconic restaurant, Wedja, and very conveniently located, just 20 minutes from Ubud Market centre and activities such as Kuber ATV/Rafting. Easy to book Grab/Gojek from here. I believe anyone staying in Ubud must have a meal at Wedja. The resort itself is very photogenic with a beautiful pool and dedicated open Yoga space. The private pool Villa is very comfortable and offers great value for money. Great staff, location, service and restaurant. We had an incredible stay.

If you are staying in the Wooden Joglo however, please keep in mind that it's not very quiet and you can hear what's going on outside or inside. Hence definitely not recommended for couples.

The private pool had way too much chloride that we couldn’t use it for two days. There weren’t any convenience stores or other restaurants near by or laundry facilities near by. I thought we might be able to walk through rice fields but we couldn’t. Not enough food options for westerners or kids.

This property is absolutely stunning, great restaurant and staff are always happy to help and check on you. Definitely coming back.

Great atmosphere and friendly staffs, especially thanks to the receptionist girls team for their service and knowledgeable assistance, they give us useful information on activities bookings and assist our daily routine.

As an inexperienced scooter driver, the gravel road at front entrance might be too rough for you

There is a lot of traffic outside the property, so getting Gojek can be a little wait. The hotel tries to assist vehicles coming out and in. This is more of an issue with the road then the property.

The property itself self is something special, the Wedja Restaurant is AMAZING- the staff are wonderful, the food delicious and the gardens magical! The Loft room was beautiful. The pool lovely also. The staff were so lovely and helpful. I have stayed here before and will return due to it being an amazing place to stay.

The Loft room of not notable for more than a couple- we have two babes and were told the couch was okay as a bed, it’s not, and we had to pay for an additional bed which was not available. Our hot water system in the Loft room was too small for two people, let along four. It always ran out of hot/warm water within minutes. The breakfast was pretty inconsistent, still edible and all, but things were cold, or different ingredients used, etc. the restaurant was also open later than reported hours so there were times we’d go up there and it’d be closed. For the money we spent to stay here we were disappointed by these things, although not life shattering, they happened on the daily.

Amazing garden, lovely accommodation, kind staffs.. But most impressive thing is restaurant!! It’s best Nasigoreng ever!! I wish this place doesn’t become too famous!!

The grounds and facilities are beautiful. Villa is superb, so comfortable and beautiful. There’s a spa, a boutique with clothes and local artisan artworks and products. The pool is lovely with surrounding rice fields (stunning view). Yoga on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays in the afternoon. Wedja restaurant has great coffee, Indonesian food and delicious cocktails. The staff are soo friendly, accomodating and helpful. I have stayed in touch with some of the staff members. They go the extra mile to make your stay and time in Ubud as special as possible. On my birthday they surprised me by bringing a delicious cake to my room while singing me happy birthday. Will definitely be back. Thank you Ubud Art Resort!
