Breakfast was varied, tasty and good sizes. The staff were always so helpful and kind. Swasti Eco Cottages are beautiful, private and relaxing. The street is quiet but with some great restaurants and it’s nice to be away from the main centre of Ubud. We loved our time there.
Nothing!

Beautiful property, full of nature. The spa and the restaurant were amazing. I felt like it was my own little oasis. The tea on the terrace was such a special touch. Everything is very thoughtful, beautiful and welcoming

I particularly loved the service and attention to detail. I felt see and looked after. The room with a beautiful wooden veranda and traditional architecture was beautiful. The bed very comfy. I loved waking up to the early morning herbal tea and coffee served on my porch!
The location as I was there was a bit hard to reach due to traffic everytime going from there to Ubud central. I didn’t like the goats at the back of the garden. I felt sorry for them I don’t think of them as being an eco-conscious addition to the place as I worried about their welfare. Goats need to play and and be on the ground! I was a big fan of the pool
area either and the ‘portable’ airconditioning in the middle placed on a chair in the middle of the room. I would have rather had just have fan-cooled room!

Swasti is just wonderful! It is unique in it’s format: an ecological farm with plenty of plants, herbs, flower pool and goats inside an urban area. It is both spacious and full of nature sounds.
I think that food is the most specific trait of this hotel: mainly vegetarian, unexpected flavors, sustainable and very beautiful!

I stayed at Swasti Eco Cottages for just one night and it was truly magical. This place is absolutely beautiful and perfect for anyone dreaming of peace and total relaxation.
The massage I had there was the best of my life. Listening to thunder and rain during the treatment made the experience unforgettable and deeply calming.
The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and the staff are kind, attentive and always helpful. Every morning there is a thermos with hot water, coffee and tea waiting on the terrace, which makes the start of the day incredibly pleasant.
The on site farm and organic gardens are impressive and show how much care goes into this place. I wish I could have stayed longer and I would happily come back.
lots of ants in the bathroom

Nice staff, quiet area in Ubud.
Something is off at Swasti, I had a room, so villas might be nicer, but it was a but used & not too clean.

Swasti Eco Cottages is a sanctuary in the midst of bustling Ubud. It is peaceful and yet in an excellent location to access restaurants and shops and other attractions. The food at the restaurant is healthy, beautifully prepared and well prices. The restaurant is peaceful and well maintained.
Upon arrival we were offered an 'upgrade' from the deluxe double room to a cottage. The only way in which this was an upgrade is that there were three additional single beds in the room. Although we were travelling with family, we are a couple without children and we do not need additional beds. Other than that the room was not an upgrade, in fact it was not nearly as well appointed as our original room. As a result of the 'upgrade', we had to wait until 9.45pm for access to our room, during which time we were not offered a cup of tea. We were offered a cup of tea at 9.45pm but by that time we were so exhausted we just wanted to go to our room and sleep.

The property is sooo beautiful, was better than the photos. Just lovely...gardens, buildings, cafe all very beautiful. The staff is beyond lovely, can't do enough for you and are just genuinely nice people working in the right industry for their sweet dispositions and personalities. They went over and above to care for me.
The cafe was unique in the variety of food served and everything I had was flavorful and delicious. I took the shortcut through the money forest, on the side where all the bikes go and it was just a short walk to town. Easy and quicker than Grab, thru all the traffic. I would highly recommend Swasti for a quiet, peaceful and welcoming stay in Ubud area.
Maybe the spa facilities? It sounds like they are upgrading them and will be offering more, once that's completed.

I attended a retreat onsite and stayed overnight before the conclusion of the retreat. Everyone is very accommodated and assisting my needs.

Good location and facilities
Breakfast should have more options…
Mosquitoes issue in night time due to location

Tucked away in calm Nyah Kuning, Swasti is a lovely lush oasis with traditional cottages and rooms, a great vegetarian restaurant and nice spa. Nice touches like coffee and herbal tea delivered before breakfast. Breakfast options are not your usual and can come straight from the garden. Staff are lovely and really helpful. I stayed in a Deluxe cottage and Traditional room and liked both. Swasti is not far from Ubud Central if you walk 20mins or bike the monkey forest path. Otherwise by car you might get caught up in the horrendous traffic and will take twice as long.
Nothing. I loved it's chilled vibe.

The staff were lovely we really loved our traditional Balinese house/accom
We found the drinks in the restaurant where are very good value for money and cost
We found the restaurant menu very limiting as it was gluten-free and vegan mostly. There are a lot of mosquitoes so be prepared.

Pretty much everything! The rooms, bungalows, gardens, feel of Swasti, its attention to beauty and now its food too is amazing! A stay at Swasti is a real treat! Since we last visited, the restaurant has expanded & the food was the best we have ever had at Swasti & on par with some of the best restaurants in Ubud. A very diverse, creative, stunningly presented menu, totally delicious and nutritious food. Best free breakfasts too. Beaming service: Thank you.
I miss the beautiful flower decorations that used to be made by the gardeners and that were strewn around the gardens. Now replaced by neon lit symbols.

It’s was a really pretty and nature driven property. Their own gardens to produce a lot of their wonderfully special food and beverages. This is a vegetarian/vegans dream come true- I am neither - and I loved it.
It’s pretty old- but if you like that - you’re good!

Lovely cottages set in a large quiet garden located a few minutes away from the Sacred Monkey Forest. There is a nice swimming pool as well as a beautiful restaurant. The food is amazing (most ingredients come from their own organic vegetable garden) but there are also several other dining options nearby. The staff is super friendly. Other amenities include yoga shalas and a spa. This place embodies values of peace, beauty, kindness and ecology!
Nothing to fault

The cottages are set in a beautiful, very well maintained garden.
There is plenty of space, also for gardening and for keeping sheep.
Although we stayed in a beautiful and comfortable family room, the resort isn’t really family friendly.
There’s a sign at the swimmingpool saying “no jumping, no running, no screaming”.
Of course that is what kids love to do and I was always looking over my shoulder for a staff member to come tell me that my kids were too loud.
I was never able to relax at Swasti and relaxing a bit, was actually the reason for us to stay 4 days in Ubud.
For breakfast there aren’t a lot of kid friendly dishes either; all dishes are complicated; eg a fruit salad will come with a tangerine dressing, a waffle will come with green herbs, …
I would have chosen other accommodation if I were to know this up front.
The location isn’t very convenient, it costs 60.000 one way to take a taxi to the city center, as it is nearly impossible to walk through the monkey forest.

Breakfast was healthy, you could choose 2 little meals for example tiny sourdough bread with egg or porridge bowl, very diffrent to other places. The had yellow milk, healthy with curcuma.
We were still hungry after breakfast.

I loved the colourful vibrant energy, the gardens and shalas, the rooms are spacious and beautiful and food was incredibly delicious. LOVED the morning tapas!
The rooms at reception are quite noisey if there are guests next door.

The garden is amazing. The eco concept, by utilizing used materials for the furnitures, is thoughtful. Also the yoga classes.
I considered it overpriced for the facility and quality. I would be happy paying half of the listed price. The ponds are not well maintained.

Great location, central but away from the bustle of the main streets of Ubud. A little green oasis right next door to restaurants, cafes and a couple of small supermarkets. A very good restaurant is on site and open the whole day and evening with exquisite vegan and vegetarian dishes prepared mainly with their own garden ingredients. You can also have fish and one or two meat dishes, I think. My only gripe is with our bathroom which had a permanently wet floor due to a leaking pipe at the back of the toilet and an unsightly area of outdoor pavers, also permanently wet from the open shower runoff. Otherwise, a good choice to stay when in Ubud as it is away from the traffic chaos but still very central.

Good location close to nice restaurants.
They are organizing a lot on site (e.g. yoga)
Breakfast is healthy and good.
Rooms are clean and staff is friendly.
I found it strange that you need to buy a voucher if you want to use the pool (in return you can buy food with the voucher in their restaurant).
