The pub was lovely with a good atmosphere and an excellent smoking area.The room was luxurious with excellent carpet and a very comfy bed and good quality pillows and linen . The bathroom was large and very clean and i had lots of towels which is important to me . The security was excellent too .

Lovely and comfy bed. Kate is very welcoming and warm. The Kitchen access is great too. Felt very comfy and warm. Really beautiful rooms.
The noise from the pub sometimes can be the only thing that’s tricky, but you’re staying above a pub… so you’re not surprised by it!

The room was clean, however the bed was uncomfortable and it was difficult to sleep well, also guests using the kitchen very late and being next to a road meant our sleep was disturbed, which is no fault of the owners. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain properly, so we had to use the shower in the end, there were no staff there to speak to as it was at night time. Also the booking said it included a continental breakfast, but I received a message from the owners, stating breakfast wasn’t included but it was too late to cancel, so this needs to be much clearer during the booking process. All in all it was an ok stay, the place was clean and staff member was friendly, tea/coffee and biscuits were also provided and enjoyed. There was also a kitchen for guests to use freely.
The noise and the disappointment of breakfast advertised as being included, when it was not.
