Very good, value for money room, for overnight stay.

The apartment was very clean with all amenities required. It can accommodate 2 separate bookings with communal living room and kitchen but my room was en suite and I had single occupancy at the time. Great host who communicated well and was available if needed.

Struggled a bit with getting the radiators to heat but it was not too cold. Only difficulty was finding the location as satnav took me to a nearby street rather than the correct address.

There are 2 rooms to rent so unless you book both this HASN'T got a private bathroom which is annoying as it was one of my criteria. Walls were paper thin and couple in next room were amateur singers. Thankfully they chose after 8am to do that but even normal talking was loud. Was warm in bed but cold everywhere else, no heating on in windy November.

Quiet residential location

Good location near the shops in Hanley and we managed a trip to the theatre too. Walking into uni too. Great host who answered any question I had and kept the place tidy.

It was difficult to access due to 3 different and very long coded entrance locks. Bed was single and I expected a double. No milk sachets.

The location is accessible and close to the town centre, train station, shops and shopping malls as well. The whole area was quiet and peaceful. Perfect choice if you are on a hectic schedule business trip.

It would be better to put up a blind of any sort in he kitchen window for more privacy.

Dreadful

The employee who was supposed to be staying there left immediately as it was obviously being used as a brothel.

Prostitution was being conducted at this property, lots of men coming and going and conversations discussing what services were available and for how much.

As it transpired I did not stay the night due to a change in plans however managed a quick nap in thr afternoon which was very appreciated. Everything was as expected - clean, well kept and easeful

Image on website led you to beleive that the room had an ensuite. This is incorrect. The main bedroom has an ensuite but the single room doesnt and you have to share the main bathroom. Having said that a couple was staying in the main bedroom and I had use of the main bathroom to myself so not a massive issue.

Hidden.Gem

Before I walked in the care taken made arrival simple, efficient and the property on entry said Home. Extended stay that night by 1 day (max available at time) Loved the ability to have private secure space and communal space that can safely share with others. As a single Man, I found the affordable option of single room wirh bathroom over the corridor ideal. And I believe the other room is ensuite (only reasonably priced a bit higher) should allow female solo travellers assuring safe. That together with the fact Booking.com has all parties details are about as best I have seen on offer. Kitchen had everything Sitting area and breakfast bench wirh.big TV fab. Think may be option to extend couch in there to bed, so could sleep 4 - couple and 2 singles if both rooms hired (would need to enquire re bedding). In three distinct spaces My room. Bed comfy. Lamp worked. Side cabinet could unpack smaller items.Desk in corner with chair ideal. Plenty of hanging space and some quality hangers. Bathroom. As other room has ensuite pretty much sole use in reality. Lock on door and bath - relaxing and actually writing review now sitting in it!

The umbrella by the shoes rack (yew there is an umbrella and it rained) was a little damaged but apart from that A1
