The property was very clean and the owner was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. All the shared facilities were also kept in a very clean state.
The parking facilities were not as convenient as suggested in the listing - street parking, although free after 9pm was restricted to one hour unless you had a resident's pass. It was also very busy. The owner suggested parking in the NHS car park in the next street, however this had a sign stating that there was a £100 fine for unauthorised use except by patients or NHS staff. Instead I used the nearby Hanley Park car park in Parkway which was only £3 for 24 hours.

Staff we encountered - Kingsley - was really friendly and helpful. Kitchen and downstairs area was ideal as we brought easy cook (microwave) meals and were able to cook and eat together.
It says ‘parking at location’. This isn’t strictly true as the road the property is on is a mixture of 1hr (no return for 2)/residents only. We had to find parking overnight away from the property - outside a local pharmacy - because I wasn’t prepared to park in the NHS car park as was suggested. Our overall stay was excellent but this was a stress we didn’t need. Perhaps a residents car park available might be a simple answer to this (though of course I don’t know how expensive that would be for the owner).

Own fridge and bathroom
Over 1 hour check in wait, food left in pans from manager so you can't cook. Massive gap in window aswell so there was a breeze
