Peaceful, quaint, well resourced holiday cottage. Very friendly and helpful hosts, offering fresh farm eggs when available. The open plan roo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Wi-fi connection was also good allowing us to work away with no trouble. Lots of stunning countryside hikes close by.
Nothing was unlikeable, however a car is needed due to remote location in the hamlet.

A lovely, well appointed small holiday cottage in a converted dairy set within a traditional Derbyshire farmstead. Beautiful, interesting countryside and the delightful spa town of Buxton close by. Lucy and Andrew were very friendly hosts and extremely helpful.
Shavings was just a little small but had been very well converted and decorated.

Due to the adverse weather we were unable able to make weekend. The property were extremely helpful and kind ....but sykes Cottages are to be avoided as s booking agent
