Great location. Good value for the money

No breakfast included. Excellent location. Two bathrooms was a bonus. No coffee maker that worked but found a great café nearby. Nice touch to see a vase of fresh flowers in the kitchen. A bit of a challenge getting luggage up to the loft. A quaint place with charm and comfort. Property owner was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Would definitely recommend. Good value.

No railings on the stairs leading to the second and third floor.

Exactly as advertised, no frills and rustic charm

it was exactly as described. we enjoyed staying in a historic, residential building. though central it was delightfully quiet. access was easy per instructions received. having the laundry machine and drying racks was wonderful. The host was very responsive when I asked a question. We stayed during very hot days and as a result slept only on the lowest floor, which was fine for us. We used the oscillating fan to stay cool. Note: If arriving by train, take the tram to the stop closest to the apartment to avoid dragging suitcases over cobblestones for 15-minutes.

The apartment was exactly as described but my family found it to be at the edge of our comfort level of rusticity. At 5’10”, I hit my head on thresholds and low beams many times. I found the ladder-like stairs to be unwieldy. You need to be spry for this place!

Nicholas is an amazing host, super friendly and very helpful. Fantastic central location. Kids loved the old building. Full kitchen and good sized washing machine.

Bathroom door won't stay closed. There's no actual bedrooms as such, just open sleeping areas so not much privacy.

amazingly close to downtown with well stocked kitchen

cozy little apartment unbelievably close to everything downtown. I still can’t believe we found this amazing place. Kirchen was well stocked even with good fresh coffee for the first morning. the washing machine had plenty of detergent. the beds were comfy and ample. the views into the courtyard and of neighboring buildings were amazing. close by church bells pealed at seemingly random times. it was the quintessential Strasbourg stay. close the windows by late evening to keep bugs out. a few times we found street parking right beside the apartment for a few hours. otherwise we parked in the parking garage Austerlitz for only €20 for 24 hrs which was only an 8 min walk away. there is also park n ride with the tram service which we didn’t explore.

anyone taller than 170 cm will need to watch their head frequently. but that actually adds to the charm.

Wunderschöne Familienzeit

Die Wohnung liegt im Hinterhof-Haus im 2. Stock und geht über drei Etagen. Sie bietet Platz für insgesamt 6 Personen. Es gibt ein Bad mit Badewanne (leider ohne Vorhang) und Toilette und eine weitere separate Toilette. Wie schon viele andere Gäste schrieben sind die Schlafzimmer nur durch Stiegen voneinander getrennt - für eine Familie oder gute Freunde gut möglich. Auf der Eingangsebene liegt die Küche, der Essbereich und das Wohnzimmer. Das Wohnzimmer hat einen Vorhang zur restlichen Wohnung, der gut den Schall abdichtet. Es gibt ausreichend Platz. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht - sogar ein Backofen! Wenn möglich buchen wir diese Unterkunft gerne wieder!

Der fehlende Vorhang an der Badewanne sorgt dafür, dass beim Duschen der Boden doch recht nass wird

Nous avons réservé le logement dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel. Le logement est peut-être plus adapté pour un voyage entre proches, pour autant très confortable et très chouette cadre ! Il a en plus l'avantage d'être très très bien placé. L'hôte a été très arrangeant, merci encore !

Apartamento espacioso y con ambientación alsaciana

Alojamiento con muy buena ubicación cercana tanto a la catedral como a la Petite France. La cocina está muy bien equipada y en general, el apartamento es espacioso, es curioso y está razonablemente limpio.

No nos gustó la poca seguridad en las escaleras, así como los pequeños escalones de ambas plantas en mitad de las estancias que pueden ocasionar accidentes. No es adecuado para viajar con niños o con personas con algún problema de movilidad. Las habitaciones de las plantas superiores deberían de tener una silla para dejar ropa, y se deberían de poner almohadas más cómodas que son realmente planas.

La ville et l'appartement ont offert un beau cadre à l'anniversaire d'une d'entre nous.

L'emplacement était idéal pour voir de Strasbourg ce que nous souhaitions. L'appartement atypique, au fond d'une belle cour et en haut d'un escalier doté d'une superbe rampe, sur trois niveaux avec ses poutres, ses "échelles"et ses pans de bois, contribuait à bien nous situer dans la vieille capitale de l'Alsace. Nos grands enfants étaient ravis et l'appelaient "notre maison de trolls".

Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Altstadt. Charmante Wohnung auf 3 Etagen. Auf jeder Etage ein französisches Bett. Freundlicher Vermieter. Für 6 Personen eingerichtet. 2 Toiletten.

Das sollte man wissen: Z. T. sehr niedrige Deckenbalken, etwa 1,72 hoch. Kein abschließbares Zimmer.

Wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder einmal!

Die Lage ist perfekt gelegen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und grosszügig vom Platz her. In der Küche ist alles sauber. Kaffee und Tee stehen zur Verfügung.

Im Herbst/Winter empfiehlt es sich, Hausschuhe mitzunehmen. Der Boden ist recht kalt.
