Great little apartment

Great location and very cozy. Ideal for a place to bed down and get on with you adventure. Clean and tidy we also received a welcome what’s app with clear directions on how to locate and access the property.

My experience at Le Gabriel was exceptional from start to finish. The apartment enjoys a superb location — just a short walk or a single tram stop from Gare Centrale — with immediate access to the tram network, shops, and the nearby mall. It serves as a perfectly situated base for exploring Strasbourg with ease. Despite being in the heart of the city, the apartment offers remarkable tranquility. Beautifully renovated, it feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail has been considered, from the fully equipped kitchen to the soft towels and essential amenities. It truly felt like a refined home away from home. What elevates this place even further is the host. Attentive, responsive, and genuinely welcoming, he ensured a seamless and comfortable stay. His prompt communication and warm approach made a meaningful difference. I would gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend Le Gabriel to anyone visiting Strasbourg. Elegant, immaculate, and wonderfully convenient — simply an exceptional place to stay. No complaints whatsoever.

Would definitely stay here again.

Location is very convenient to both tourist sights, the train station ( 5-10 minute walk, flat so easy to manage luggage, and convenient for grocery shopping. Communication with the host was excellent from the beginning of booking. He seemed genuinely concerned that everything was in order. Glad to have a lift although there is only one short flight of stairs. Useful book of info available.The apartment was very clean and updated, including a great shower and good lighting in all rooms. Kitchen work area is small, but worked well. Full size refrigerator. So happy to have salt and pepper, and oil and balsamic vinegar in the kitchen!

Everything was fine. Some little things that might be helpful couple of hall way hooks to hang jackets. An extra kitchen towel to dry dishes. One was sufficient, but for longer stay it would be handy.

☆☆☆☆☆Super Modern Studio & good Price. We'll Comeback again!

They were on Saturday-Monday in June 2025. 3 of us drive with Car from Bremen to Strassbourg and Parking our Car on the Street. We realy like this place, this Studio. Here is not far from the Tram and Bus Station, Bars, Restaurants and Supermarkts. This Studio is Modern Style, comfortable, nice Bathroom and all very clean, There is also a clothes rack and an iron. The Air Conditioner is very quiet. We like the Kitchen to make breakefast and Dining. At night, if you open the Window you can hear the music from 9 the Club nearby. But if you close the Window, you can't hear it at all. My freind and i slept very well. I will definetely invite my family and freinds to visit and stay here again.

The Bathroom schould have ventilation. Bed for 2 Persons, it would be great if it had a door to close. But for us, it's not a problem at all.

Great location

Le Gabriel is located very close to the train station as well as the city centre and the places we wanted to visit. Everything was well organised and went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and contacted us via WhatsApp with all the information we needed prior to our stay. It was easy to find the keys and anything else we needed. We were allowed to check in early too, which was very nice as we wanted to leave our luggage and explore the city.

The door to our apartment was pretty thin, and we could hear our neighbours moving about on the hallway through it. This wouldn't have been a problem, but someone decided to have a loud chat in front of their room at 1 am, and a phone call the next day. Everything was solved by discussing the issue, but I wish I didn't have to raise it in the first place. There was a bit of dust on the heater and other places, but overall the room was clean. From my point of view, these are the 2 things that could improve my already nice experience as a guest :)

Late check in, early check out, We called several times the host, in order to get the keys, we were tired and we were wating for his response. Not friendly at all. No hospitality values at all. Choose something else.for sure. We found the dirty socks of the guest begore us. Nightmare!!!

I immediately looked for another accomodation

I decided already on the first night to leave the room because it did not correspond to what I expected according to the pictures of the website. I did not feel safe and comfortable at all. The room was dirty, I found hair in the drawer and chewing gum. The bathroom door was damaged and repaired at the least. The power socket was not fixed well to the wall, visible holes in the wall in the kitchen, overall an unkempt, neglected and uninviting image. I travel a lot for my work, I find it really unfair to offer such a room at the price I paid which does not match the photos on the website. It's not enough to write a message in which is explained that the place is aged. Is not only a matter of aged structure. The pictures must be changed on the internet, in order to show the really situation and avoid misleading situations. With hindsight, I regret not having taken pictures that attest to the condition of the room.

Good location, clean room, helpful host.

Location was perfect, close to Petit France, and walking distance from Notre Dame Cathedral. The room was clean, kitchen well stocked, bathroom clean.

Room size was much smaller than we had expected, particularly since we had booked for 4 people. One double bed was standard size, but the foldable beds did not meet our expectation. After expanding the foldable beds, there was no space left in the room to walk around, or access the kitchen.

Easy walk form the main train station, the river is a block away so very good location with a tram stop just across the road for easy access to places around town, the host was very helpful with all queries we had. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need including a coffee machine with a supply of coffee which is very great for short stays.

We could not shower for the two days we stayed because the drain kept overflowing and the basin was dirty due to this. The rags used to clean the apartment was stored in the bathroom and they had an unpleasant smell

Perfectly located

Our first visit to Strasbourg and we were very impressed with the city. Everything is very close to this location. Accomodation was clean .. easily accessible and very comfortable. We had dinner at the Meteor close by, which on a Sunday night it had a wonderful vibe.

very disappointing…

The location is oké. It’s close to the citycenter but it is located in a dirty noisy street. The host was easy reachable and friendly.

It’s really old, the shower was dirty and many things are damaged. I took this studio because it was not the cheapest and not the most expensive one but the price was way too high for this old and dirty studio. I really don’t mind old studio’s if the foto’s and price is fear. this was not the case. I felt robbed and fouled. I will never return to this place and recommend others not to book! Search for something in the citycenter. Strasbourg is soo beautiful!

Good location, but old and dusty

Great location. The manager is nice and helpful

The flat is quite old and dusty. Everything in the kitchen is so dirty that we were not able to use anything without cleaning it by ourselves. Bed linen and towels are stained and with visible yellowing.
