Disappointing 😞

Liked the location. Everything was within reasonable walking distance.

Didn't like the fact we had to contact the host several times to get the code for property and finally it was sent just a few hrs before the checkin. Very loud and constant noise of kids running and furniture moving from upstairs. Messaged the host and they got back saying lady with kids upstairs has been informed. But nothing changed. Next morning 09:01am and had a knock on the door. Lady outside was a cleaner.she said knock by mistake. At 9:44 she knocked again and asked if we were ready to check out. She sat outside the door with her cleaning stuff until we checked out😞

The futon/double bed was terribly uncomfortable. Everything else was lovely, but we were 4 and hubby slept on the small bed and I took the futon myself and made the best of it.

Good central location, great air con, several downsides.

Good central location in Strasbourg, close to the train station and old town. The air conditioning was strong and effective.

The property is on the second floor accessed via a steep, narrow staircase, making it difficult to haul luggage up. Much of the crockery, cutlery and pans were dirty. The property lists “parking” on their listing. The parking that is available is a €20 per day public carpark which has a 1.9M height restriction (as do all public carparks in Strasbourg. This meant that our 2.1m high vehicle (roof box put us over height) had to be parked in Germany, a train and bus ride away. We phoned ahead and asked about the parking, as we wanted to check the height, and the host said he would get back to us to let us know, but never did. For Brits considering driving in Strasbourg, you must also have a French vehicle emissions sticker (obtainable online) otherwise you can apparently be fined. There was insufficient hot water as the boiler appeared to shut down one morning and we couldn’t figure out a quick fix.

Disappointing

Kitchen is old, with no exaustion and clearly not fit to cook. The photos don´t correspond with the house and it has too many stuff scattered all over the place. I´ll not use this again.

Superb

Excelent location, really close to the main station and the old town, the apartament had everything needed for a pleasent stay.

The fact that the bathroom was located in the bedroom was a little incovenient for those sleeping in the living room.

Great location, very central. Easy access to the old town.. The owner responsive and helpful. You can use public parking (not clean at all but not the owner's fault) and he gives the discount card. Convenient self check in

Dirty, dirty, dirty

The location was very good. In the middle of the city centre within walking distance of all the sights.

We had apartment Paola and the apartment was very dirty. The floor felt greasy and sticky. The pots and pans in the kitchen and the kitchen appliances were too dirty to use. There were stains on all of the furniture, cobwebs on the walls and ceiling and dust everywhere. The smoke detector was for some reason removed. The bathroom is very dated. Lots of noise coming from people walking up and down the stairs and slamming doors. We could hear every footstep coming from the apartment above. Would not recommend staying here.

Good location

Very good location, Apartment was very clean with towels and toiletries provided. Kitchen was very well equipped with required kitchenettes. Nice ventilation and view from the windows moreover Air-condition was also provided. Cathedral, Museums, Restaurants, etc., in walking distance.

Few points which could be improved, 1. Check-in instructions, Property owner/host should verify check-in passwords several times before communicating it to the guests. We received incorrect password and spent 1.5 hrs to check-in. 2. Contacting property owner/host It took us more than 1 hr to get in contact with property owner/host to get the check-in issue resolved. We were already tired after our travel and needed to wait outside along with child, trying to check-in with incorrect password was a tiresome experience. 3. Check-out time (ease in check-out) Check-out time mentioned everywhere was 10AM. To mention this precisely, we left the property exactly at 9:58AM, but to our surprise property owner/host arrived at 9:40AM, checking the status and requested us to make it quick. Personally this does not go very well considering we already faced check-in issue.

- The apartment was well equipped and located in the central area - The host was very friendly and helpful when we had any questions - The hygiene was very good

- The stairs were steep and it was hard to carry the luggage up and down the stairs - Hot water was limited since the heater only worked from 11 pm to 1 am and if you use up all water in the water tank, you will have to wait for the heater to work. - It was quite noisy since we could hear all the noise and sound coming from the upper floor.

The owner was rude, he came before the check out time and wanted us to leave and refused to give us a bit more time. The apartment was smaller than in pictures and theres no elevator. And there was a cockroach in the house.

La localisation était vraiment parfaite et le propriétaire est joignable à n’importe quel moment

C’est clairement une cave, dernier étage, tout petit appartement, très sale. Derrière le lit où on dort, et on met notre tête et visage. C’est Degoutant voir les photos. C’est un bâtiment de quatre étages. Chaque étage, il y a un appartement que le Proprietaire loue .. Tout le séjour y avait pas de voyageurs dans les autres appartements. Ça veut dire j’ai dormi seule dans le bâtiment pendant 4 nuits heureusement il y a une caméra directe quand on accède au bâtiment Le prix est trop élevé pour ce genre de location vraiment ça mérite pas son prix absolument pas !

un rapport qualité-prix très bien pour l'emplacement et le confort

appartement très près des centres d'intérêt. L'appartement est joli et bien aménagé, aucun souci pour y venir à 4. Dans l'ensemble bien équipé.

certains d'entre nous ont été gênés par la proximité du tramway (on l'entend un peu pendant la nuit), mais ça n'a pas été le cas de tout le monde. Nous avions loué deux des appartements et l'un d'entre eux n'avait pas de louche, pas de dessous de plat etc. L'autre appartement en avait 2 de chaque, peut-être des occupants précédents ont mal re-réparti les choses ? Le ménage semble fait, mais de manière superficielle, il ne faut pas rentrer dans le détail ;)
