Good central location, great air con, several downsides.

Good central location in Strasbourg, close to the train station and old town. The air conditioning was strong and effective.

The property is on the second floor accessed via a steep, narrow staircase, making it difficult to haul luggage up. Much of the crockery, cutlery and pans were dirty. The property lists “parking” on their listing. The parking that is available is a €20 per day public carpark which has a 1.9M height restriction (as do all public carparks in Strasbourg. This meant that our 2.1m high vehicle (roof box put us over height) had to be parked in Germany, a train and bus ride away. We phoned ahead and asked about the parking, as we wanted to check the height, and the host said he would get back to us to let us know, but never did. For Brits considering driving in Strasbourg, you must also have a French vehicle emissions sticker (obtainable online) otherwise you can apparently be fined. There was insufficient hot water as the boiler appeared to shut down one morning and we couldn’t figure out a quick fix.

Kitchen is old, with no exaustion and clearly not fit to cook. The photos don´t correspond with the house and it has too many stuff scattered all over the place. I´ll not use this again.

Great location, very central. Easy access to the old town.. The owner responsive and helpful. You can use public parking (not clean at all but not the owner's fault) and he gives the discount card. Convenient self check in

Dirty, dirty, dirty

The location was very good. In the middle of the city centre within walking distance of all the sights.

We had apartment Paola and the apartment was very dirty. The floor felt greasy and sticky. The pots and pans in the kitchen and the kitchen appliances were too dirty to use. There were stains on all of the furniture, cobwebs on the walls and ceiling and dust everywhere. The smoke detector was for some reason removed. The bathroom is very dated. Lots of noise coming from people walking up and down the stairs and slamming doors. We could hear every footstep coming from the apartment above. Would not recommend staying here.

Good location

Very good location, Apartment was very clean with towels and toiletries provided. Kitchen was very well equipped with required kitchenettes. Nice ventilation and view from the windows moreover Air-condition was also provided. Cathedral, Museums, Restaurants, etc., in walking distance.

Few points which could be improved, 1. Check-in instructions, Property owner/host should verify check-in passwords several times before communicating it to the guests. We received incorrect password and spent 1.5 hrs to check-in. 2. Contacting property owner/host It took us more than 1 hr to get in contact with property owner/host to get the check-in issue resolved. We were already tired after our travel and needed to wait outside along with child, trying to check-in with incorrect password was a tiresome experience. 3. Check-out time (ease in check-out) Check-out time mentioned everywhere was 10AM. To mention this precisely, we left the property exactly at 9:58AM, but to our surprise property owner/host arrived at 9:40AM, checking the status and requested us to make it quick. Personally this does not go very well considering we already faced check-in issue.

- The apartment was well equipped and located in the central area - The host was very friendly and helpful when we had any questions - The hygiene was very good

- The stairs were steep and it was hard to carry the luggage up and down the stairs - Hot water was limited since the heater only worked from 11 pm to 1 am and if you use up all water in the water tank, you will have to wait for the heater to work. - It was quite noisy since we could hear all the noise and sound coming from the upper floor.

The owner was rude, he came before the check out time and wanted us to leave and refused to give us a bit more time. The apartment was smaller than in pictures and theres no elevator. And there was a cockroach in the house.

.La proximité du marché de Noël.

Le chauffage n'était pas allumé à notre arrivée. Sur 3 convecteurs seulement 2 fonctionnait. Le frigo n'était pas propre et la pomme de douche ne tenait pas au tuyau. Il faudrait aussi voir pour mettre des fenêtre plus isolante pour le bruit extérieur.

Localisation parfaite pour explorer Strasbourg

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans l’appartement Pascale et avons été déçus par plusieurs points importants. L’appartement n’était pas propre à notre arrivée : beaucoup de poussière, en particulier dans la zone des deux petits lits à l’étage. Les deux matelas y étaient simplement posés au sol, ce qui n’est pas adapté pour un séjour confortable à quatre personnes. Deux membres du groupe ont même dû prendre des médicaments en raison de la poussière ambiante. L’isolation est très insuffisante : les fenêtres et parois laissent passer le froid ainsi que le bruit extérieur. Nous avons été réveillés plusieurs fois dans la nuit par les cris provenant de la place juste en face. Le deuxième soir, nous n’avions plus d’eau chaude pour nous doucher. De plus, une forte odeur provenant de la salle de bain rendait impossible le fait de laisser la porte ouverte, et les serviettes de bain avaient une odeur d’humidité désagréable. Au vu du prix proposé, l’appartement n’offre pas le niveau de confort et de propreté attendu. Je ne le recommande pas.

El cajetín de las llaves no abrió. Nos dejó tirados un viernes a las 8 de la tarde sin poder entrar al apartamento. Le llamos 50 veces y ni siquiera nos contestó.

Booking no nos dio ninguna solución. Se ofreció a darnos una indemnización económica y pagarnos taxis de compensación. Dos meses después y con bastantes llamadas y email a Booking no nos han indemnizado con nada.

La ubicación, las camas eran cómodas, había utensilios cocina, la respuesta rápida de dudas por parte del anfitrión.

El precio (muy caro), no estaba limpio ni cuidado, un olor a basura insoportable cada vez que entras al bloque, y parece que bloque está torcido porque el suelo tiene pendiente hacia un lado.

Direkt im Zentrum zwischen “Alt und Neu Straßburg”

Es ist alles da. Küche ist komplett eingerichtet, sogar mit Kaffeemaschinen für den schnellen Espresso.

Auf der einen Seite im Dach kann man nicht so gut schlafen, da man sich dann den Kopf stößt aber die Couch ist auch bequem.
