Host and family made our stay memorable.

Family and host were exceptional! We booked a room with a balcony which I highly recommend. We had a view of the vineyards and nearby castle. We were traveling on bicycles and had a place to store them. The host offered to drive and pick us up to old town Berkastel-Kues for our dinner reservations. They had a refrigerator full of wine, beer, sodas, etc. available for purchase at reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious with pretty much everything. Highly recommend:)

A home away from home!

The family who owns Pension Mona Lisa are so kind and welcoming! They made our stay amazing (3 of us in total)! A place that feels like home away from home. It’s only 16mins walk away from the Forum (bus station) as we took the train then the bus from Bonn. It was beautiful getting to know the owners and their 3 daughters! The husband even dropped us to the Forum so we wouldn’t miss our bus to return home, even his youngest daughter joined us for the ride! We’ll definitely be coming back here again and stay longer!

Lovely place to stay.

The property is situated in Kues, the newer part of the area, and is in a small housing estate. It is very clean and we found it very quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the man of the house was quite funny. Our bedroom had a small seating area on a balcony with views of the surrounding hills, which was a bonus. Breakfast was huge and we were given a doggy bag to take any leftovers for a lunch. Their English is limited but this did not stop us communicating. A Dutch couple were staying and their English was very good so they sometimes translated for us. We were able to park our motorbike in the garage. We would be happy to stay again.

Excellent stay in a lovely part of the Moselle

The location was very good - in a quiet street but not far from the center. The room and all auxilliaries were absolutely clean. Parking was possible just in front of the house, the bikes and other cycling essentials could be stored in a garage. The owners were very friendly and helpfull in all respects despite the fact that the conversation was rather limited owing to the language barrier. The breakfast was superb, containing all concievable items.

Air condition would be welcome in hot days.

This is a very quiet neighbourhood a 15 minute walk from the old town. The room waS large,clean,comfortable and very quiet at night. Host were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Nice place to stay

Quiet location, short walk from the center. Nice staff, really elaborate breakfast. Room was spotlessly clean.

It's really warm in the room at night, with no way of turning off or down the heater. Ended up sleeping with the window wide open. Was okay after that. But seems wastefull so would have preferred turning of the heater. This is a tiny thing, but holder for the shower head probably needs a screw tightened as it kept on dropping down. Shower temperature wasn't very stable.

Lovely pension, great value for money

The owners are very friendly, super clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is great in the morning and we were so surprised when they proactively came to give us more food...really felt like you were being taken care of in the place. Its about a 25 min walk to the town and plenty of supermarkets around. They also have all the facilities to enjoy the wine you bought in the area 😊

Owners are not responsive on the booking. Com messaging service. I learnt that you need to contact them on WhatsApp. Shower pressure is lower than I'm used to but it was manageable.

Sensationelles Frühstück. Sehr herzliche und fürsorgliche Vermieter. Es wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt zum Jahreswechsel. Für uns war es eine 12 von 10. Muss man wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Vielen dank für den grandiosen Aufenthalt.

Lage anders als erwartet - eher einfaches Apartment mit Stadtlage

Die Nähe zur Innenstadt

Ich hatte das Apartment ursprünglich wegen der angegebenen Adresse in einer ruhigen Wohngegend gebucht. Einige Wochen vor der Anreise wurde mir dann jedoch eine andere Adresse über die Buchungs-App mitgeteilt, die ich nicht mehr überprüft hatte. Vor Ort stellte sich heraus, dass die Unterkunft sich direkt an einer Hauptstraße im Stadtzentrum befindet. Das Apartment liegt in einem ehemaligen Geschäftsraum mit großen Schaufenstern zur Straße hin. Dadurch war der Wohn- und Schlafbereich sehr einsehbar; die Fenster sind zwar mit Lamellenvorhängen versehen, aber ich habe diese lieber geschlossen gehalten, um meine Privatsphäre zu wahren. Dieses Fenster ist auch nicht zur Lüftung der Räume zu öffnen. Die Umgebung wirkte auf mich eher lebhaft und teilweise unruhig – in der Nähe befindet sich ein Busbahnhof mit entsprechendem Publikumsverkehr. Das Apartment selbst war funktional eingerichtet, allerdings in einem insgesamt einfachen Zustand. Einige Möbelstücke wirkten provisorisch befestigt (z. B. Holzklötze unter Heizkörpern), und das Ambiente empfand ich als etwas trostlos. Positiv war die zentrale Lage – man erreicht Geschäfte und die Innenstadt schnell zu Fuß. Insgesamt entsprach die Unterkunft jedoch nicht meinen Erwartungen, vor allem aufgrund der abweichenden Lage und des allgemeinen Eindrucks.

Alles super wir kommen noch mal wieder. Zimmer, Frühstück und Betreiber sehr gut..

Mega tolles Frühstück, Kaffee schon vorher. Geräumiges, gemütliches Zimmer mit Balkon. Sehr gute Betten. Ehepaar sehr zuvorkommend, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Öffentliche Parkplätze vor der Tür. E- Bikes konnten trocken in der Garage stehen und geladen werden.

Gezellig verblijf in Bernkastel-Kues.

Fijn appartement in de buurt van de oude stad van Bernkastel-Kues. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Parkeren voor de deur. Vrij drukke straat maar totaal geen probleem, geen geluidsoverlast. Fijne bedden, douche en leefruimte. Aldi en Esda op 2 min lopen voor verse broodjes ‘s morgens. Een aanrader, zou zeker deze accommodatie nogmaals boeken. Zeker ivm de fijne, gezellige en vriendelijke eigenaar!

Wir waren das 2. Mal schon dort und es war wieder super! Die Pensionsinhaber sind super nett und herzlich! Dieses Mal waren wir im Apartment! Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich und es liegt sehr zentral! Das Frühstück war wieder super lecker, alles da, was man morgens so braucht, besonders das Rührei war mit viel Liebe zubereitet! Wir konnten uns auch wieder Brötchen und Obst für unsere Radtouren mitnehmen! Vielen Dank und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein schönes Wochenende an der Mosel.

Es ist eine kleine Pension mit einem sehr freundlichen Gastgeberpaar. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Für unterwegs bekamen wir eine Handynummer, falls wir Hilfe benötigen oder abgeholt werden möchten. Das Doppelzimmer war geräumig und da es keine Klimaanlage hat stand ein Ventilator zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut. Kein Buffet, sondern jeder Tisch reichlich gedeckt mit Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Käse, Marmelade, Gurke, Tomaten und vielem mehr. Und ein vom Chef zubereitetes Rührei 🤗 Die Lage ist central, aber nicht mitten im größten Trubel. Gut 15 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Altstadt. Wenn wir wieder an die Mosel fahren, werden wir auf jeden Fall versuchen bei Mona Lisa ein Zimmer zu bekommen.

Zentral gelegenes und sehr sauberes Appartement in Bernkastel-Kues

Die Lage war sehr Zentral und die Vermieter unglaublich freundlich! Wir haben Frühstück dazu gebucht, welches sehr liebevoll zubereitet wurde.

Leider ist das Appartement etwas von der Pension entfernt, so dass wir mit dem Auto zum Frühstück gefahren sind.

Één woord: uitstekend.

Goede gastheer en vrouw die er alles aan doen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ontbijt zeer goed verzorgd en je krijgt lunchzakjes om een lunch mee te nemen. Heb ik nog nergens meegemaakt. Kamers uitstekend verzorgd en schoon. Ze zeggen vooraf dat ze niet op je kamer komen behalve als je ze vraagt voor bv schone handdoeken of toiletpapier. Het pension ligt op tien minuten lopen van Bernkastel-Kues. Op een paar minuten lopen heb je een grote Lidl. Voor een drankje s’avonds hebben ze een koelkast met wijn en bier tegen een redelijke prijs. Openbare parkeerplaatsen zijn er bij het pension en ze zijn gratis. Verder is het zeer rustig in de straat. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Appartement ligt aan een drukke straat, als er 2 stoelen op balkon staan is het vol, uitzicht is geen vakantie kiekjes, dus best wel niet naar verwachting................

Litt dårlig kommunisert hva en hadde booket og hvor dette var. Måtte kjøre og lete for å finne leilighet et annet sted enn oppgitt adresse for utleier. Minner om Airbnb men leiligheten var topp!
