We couldn't have asked for more!

The lodge was in a great spot- a fantastic view. The property was exceptionally clean and everything we needed was present-the milk, orange juice and wine was a lovely welcoming touch! We never got to sit on the patio due to the weather, but I can imagine it's beautiful in the summer!

It's a beautiful lodge in a wonderful location. It feels homely and safe. It has everything you need and more. It was amazing. I'm also grateful there were games and books available. Brilliant!

Loved the remote little lodge and the views were beautiful

Advert was a little misleading as it shows a lake and says that facilitates include fishing. However was told there was no fishing allowed! Fishing in the area but not on site?

Fantastic laid-back week in great surroundings

Location was excellent looking over countryside where we saw deer, hare and partridge. Lots of local walks. Nearby Scorton was within walking distance. Facilities at the lodge were excellent . Very clean and tidy. Welcome bottle of wine from hosts.

Wi-Fi was not available at the lodge. The provided bath towels were on the small side.

Could benefit from wifi Could benefit from DVD player The grounds behind the lodge could benefit from being fenced off as there is a lot of bricks and old building debris...but it is a work in progress and did not spoil our weekend at all😊

A wonderful find

We had our holiday to New York for my husband's 60th Birthday cancelled. We decided on a staycation and found this hidden gem. I actually felt sad leaving. Usually I can't wait to get home from a holiday. Beautiful location, top class furnishings, cosy beds. Just perfect. Other home letters should use this as their target.
