Located in the Rossall area, between the coastal towns of Fleetwood and Thornton-Cleveleys, this single storey semi-detached property is ideal for couples and families seeking a seaside escape, especially those who are travelling with elderly, or less mobile people. There is private parking and a rear enclosed garden, which is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer months. Rossall Beach Cottage has a comfortable living room, with a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, and a second living room to the front of the property. The property also benefits from Wi-Fi.
The promenade is within 500 yards, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, which has services into Blackpool and Fleetwood, taking away the hassle of traffic and parking. The cottage is well placed for exploring the Fylde Coast, with the traditional seaside resort of Thornton-Cleveleys less than a mile away. The fishing town of Fleetwood, 2 miles away, attracts many visitors with its Marine Hall, museum, market and the popular Freeport Outlet Shopping Village. The lively seaside resort of Blackpool, with its many attractions including the famous Tower, Pleasure Beach, zoo, the indoor Sandcastle Waterpark, Sea Life Centre and Madame Tussauds waxworks, is just 5 miles away. For a more laid-back seaside experience, Lytham St Annes with its championship golf courses and good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés is 10 miles away. Due to its proximity to the motorway network, the cottage also makes a great touring base. The Lake District, Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales are all approximately an hour’s drive and Lancaster and Preston are around 45 minutes. Beach 410 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 550 yards.
