Spacious and comfortable for a decent price!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, on the third floor, with a nice light and view. The location is very central, but still quiet at night. Fully equipped kitchen!

Check-in and check-out is not very easy. Everything is done through a restaurant in the ground floor (so no reception), and it is not possible to leave your bags on the day of the check-in or check-out. The sheets and towels were very old, with holes in them.

Convenient location for dining and shopping

Location was convenient for walking to restaurants, shops in central pedestrian zone. Large terrace furnished with table and chairs.

Kitchen needs better equipment for long stays where preparing meals is desired. Note: Aluminum cookware doesn’t work on an induction stove top—not magnetic. We weren’t able to cook with the aluminum skillet provided. Poor lighting in the apartment as the overhead ceiling light did not work, only kitchen counter light and bedside lamp.

Worst place we’ve ever stayed in and a bit of a dodgy area

Rhe kitchen was poorly stocked. We even had to share out knife because there was only one. Taking a shower was a challenge because the tub did not have a shower curtain. Towel looked more like a rag. And to finish it off, wires were exposed on the wall in the bathroom..

Bed was very uncomfortable. Thick dust behind the bed and bathroom grout was dirty. Interaction with staff to get keys was uncomfortable and seemed suspicious. They had a cork board of sticky notes and stacks of paper on a restaurant table to keep track of customers.

The location and the physical building was nice. The fact that there was a restaurant was great.

I went out for dinner one night and came back to find a hotel was completely locked and there was no way to get in. I spent an hour and a half at night trying to figure out how to get into the building. The only way in was through a pitch black alley behind the hotel with trash and parking that you had to access from a different street. Nobody had explained this to me. Also, one of the staff was abrupt and not helpful when the elevator was not working.

The stay in general was pleasant, but I have to admit that I did not care for all the false advertisements.

Clean room with kitchenette and generous sized bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet and air conditioned.

The facilities elevator is accessed through the restaurant. When checking in we were told that we are located on the 5th floor but the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor “surely you don’t mind….”. Further, the guest is encouraged on the way down from the room to exit on the 2nd floor and take stairs down to the ground level to a separate exit that does not lead the guest through the restaurant. The kitchenette does not have a coffeemaker. The freezer compartment in the fridge was broken and therefore unusable. The shower cabin opening was weirdly small and inconvenient to get into the shower (probably impossible for a person with a larger body habitus). The facility advertises on signage in their elevator (and I believe on the booking website…) that the restaurant is open until 11:30 pm and that food and drinks are 15% off for hotel guests. When trying for a late drink at the bar at 11 pm we were told they are closed. Went back the following night at an earlier time and ordered a cocktail. When paying and being charged full price we mentioned the discount for hotel guests and were informed that the cocktails are fairly priced already and the discount was not given.

Great stay, close to train station and city attractions.

Room was large. Kitchenette was great - more than adequate for three nights. Shower was really good. Beds were comfy, as were the pillows. Guest room service from the restaurant below was a handy option (with 15% discount), which we used on our last night.

Was a little noisy since our room faced the street and the main square (where loud drunk people congregated on Fri/Sat nights). We were so tired from sightseeing, that we fell straight to sleep anyway.

The friendly and helpful staff were awesome! The location was fine, though about a 1/2 mile from the river if walking (and its an enjoyable walk through the neighborhood). The apartment kitchen could use some more supplies: dish towels, salt, pepper, coffee maker, etc.

The staff accomodated our needs well except we arrived on our touring bicycles and felt that a secure overnight location for our bicycles would have made us feel 100% good about not having them in visual location.

Superb

A perfect stop-over before a long-distance flight from the Frankfurt Airport - it was close to the Mainz station from which the train takes ca. 25 minutes to the airport. Highly comfortable and well equipped apartment facing a quiet (even if not the most picturesque) courtyard. Well-working wifi. A few minute walk to the interesting town centre of Mainz.
