An enjoyable overnight stop.

The owner was very helpful in finding a restaurant for us. This was difficult because we arrived on a national holiday.

The breakfast although very good could have included a few more options, such as cheeses.

Welcoming guest house

This lovely guest house is, right in the centre of town, and a very interesting property. The room is extremely well thought out, has a sitting area, TV access to netflix, clean, and has air conditioning. The bed is very comfy.. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hosts recommended a number of nearby restaurant, we ate at the friterie, which was inexpensive and tasty.

Not a complaint, just an observation, if you are not able to get up two flights of stairs and cope with reduced access on one side of the bed, this room would not be for you

Unique, charming and with a lovely atmosphere!

The room was very charming and clean. The atmosphere was unique and you got a feeling of living in an actual French home. Valérie and Thierry were very welcoming and hospitable and the homemade breakfast at your chosen time was absolutely perfect! I would recommend this to anyone!

Traditional home with friendly owners.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Telling us about road working and parking in advance. Breakfast very good.

Roadworks made parking and access slightly difficult but owners were not at fault and benefits in the long term will be very good.

Great stay in a lovely village near Dunkirk.

Loved the character of the building and interiors, the hosts were excellent.. friendly, welcoming and kind. Our lovely room was a loft, very spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A really great overnight stay.

Only very minor things…the shower was too low for tall people, and we could not get the TV to work…

Quirky and arty interior. Comfy beds with hard matras, which we like. Breakfast was excellent with American pancakes, french toast, raisin brioches, baguette, scrambled eggs and fruit salad. Friendly hosts! Cute cats, which were introduced only after asking our permission. We are cat lovers, so this was the icing on the cake.

The bathrooms have no real doors. So going to the toilet is not very private.

The hosts are so welcoming and our room was very comfortable with delightfully quirky decor. It is so much more than a standard hotel room. The room is quiet and we slept well on a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great - way more food than we could possibly eat with home made jams and really good coffee. Would recommend to our friends and would definitely stay here again. Also, there was off street parking for our bicycles.

The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of individual touches in the two rooms. The house had lots of character including the breakfast room. The hosts, Thierry and Valerie were very friendly and helpful for example booking local restaurants. The morning breakfast was lovely. All within 2 mins walk from cafes and restaurants.

Excellent stopover point after channel crossing

Lovely location in the centre of Bergues. Ideal stopover after a ferry crossing. Friendly, welcoming hosts and a lovely "Boho chic" room. Tasty breakfast.

The only minus for us was the high pillows but if we had been staying more than one night I'm sure our hosts would have exchanged, so not really an issue.
