Lovely host, great value.

Very handy central location in the town, and Anne was a really lovely host. The staircase is very steep, so be wary if bringing large suitcases. We opted for twin beds and they were very comfortable. The ample continental breakfast was a good start to the day. The Capucins is excellent value for money!

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

It is a very small place but so clean and full of character the hostess was lovely and helpful. It was only a short walk to the village centre. Parking outside on the road.

Our room was up quite a few winding stairs and luggage had to be carried up.

A wonderful place to stay in Bergues 😊

Great location in a beautiful town, 5 minutes walk to the local brewery where we had a great evening. Our host Anne was very welcoming and accommodating with bicycle storage. Our room was immaculately clean, and very comfortable, breakfast delicious with lots of food. We highly recommend this B&B!

It was a little bit challenging taking our bags up to our attic bedroom as the stairs were very steep

Relaxing and great value

We were made very welcome. The rooms (bathroom was separated from the main room by a door) were spacious. The breakfast was great, with plenty of local cheese to go with the fresh baguette and croissant. That was accompanied with homemade jam and fresh fruit, walnuts and coffee.

Kind and efficient host and comfortable accommodation, much more interesting than a h/motel.

Room and breakfast area comfortable and interesting, excellent continental breakfast. The Saturday night we stayed there was a "rock festival" so we were given ear plugs and free tickets! Perhaps because of this Anne kindly walked me around the beatiiful town (think Bruges) and got us booked in for dinner at a restaurant near one of the canals. Our holiday was at Lake Annecy, so we were leaving our car in the town, and caught the excellent French trains the next day, and yes our car was there when we got back!

Music could have been more my liking (and quieter)! I would use this B+B again and the trains to go skiing,

Charming character chambres d'hotes

Very comfortable. Good-sized rooms. Nice breakfast. Friendly host. Very central location. I see people have complained about bells but they stopped at night and weren't too loud.

Spacious room and bathroom. Plenty of street parking available (free). Walking distance from several good restaurants. Shared living room with refrigerator, microwave, etc. Breakfast is good; fresh products.

The stairs. All rooms are upstairs. Old staircase. Host doesn't speak English. Don't park at the Place Gambetta on Monday mornings; there's a farmers market then.

Only only tea bag & one coffee each, which was not replenished throughout our stay. Staff are not around for assistance if required. No hand soap in the bathroom.

A very welcoming B and B. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Easy to walk around the town centre and were lucky enough to enjoy the market the morning we checked out. Breakfast was good, lovely coffee, pastries, bread..etc.. :)

Eine Perle in Bergues

Ein sehr liebevoll renoviertes Haus in der Innenstadt von Bergues. Mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe. Ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist herrlich.

Es gibt keine Parkplätze. Man muss sich einen Parkplatz in den umliegenden Straßen suchen, was zu manchen Zeiten eine Herausforderung sein kann ( aber bisher immer gelungen ist).

Willkommen bei den Sch'tis / Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis

Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in der Stadt der Sch'tis. 😃 Das Bett war total bequem und das Frühstück großartig. Erwähnenswert ist auch noch die Ruhe, trotz der zentralen Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Alles top! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren 1 Woche hier und hatten ein wunderschönes, großes Zimmer. Überhaupt war das historische Haus sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, auch der Garten ist ein Highlight. Anne ist eine überaus herzliche und perfekte Gastgeberin, die uns jeden Morgen ein herrliches Frühstück gezaubert hat.

Uns hat alles gefallen!
