TUI BLUE Kalamota Island - Adults Only

It’s very quiet and remote, but didn’t feel isolated at all. There was plenty of space and the Bali beds were a reasonable price and very comfy. The food was lovely, although not much variety it didn’t affect our stay at all. The service was fantastic. We were travelling for our honeymoon and we had a little welcome gift when we arrived, which was also extended to an excursion we went on. I believe we also had a room upgrade and it was such a nice view from our room. There is also another ‘beach’ a little walk from the hotel which hosts the most beautiful sunset (we caught the end of a proposal). The Galeb boat tours are incredible also, very friendly and knowledgeable and we had the best time.

It’s not something I didn’t like, as we have two young children at home, but the beach at the hotel is open to the public and lots of locals like to bring their children to play on the beach so there are children around. Like I said, it is not something that affected us at all but it might be a problem for others!

A quiet and beautiful location. The bed was really comfortable, the views and gardens were amazing. A very special and relaxing place. I really loved the aquarobics class! The food was absolutely superb, great variety and tasty! We sorted the transfer back to the airport with the reception and luckily someone wanted to share with us so it worked out cheaper.

I wish the bathroom had some hair conditioner and body moisturiser. We only came for a weekend so didn't pack any expecting the hotel provide this as even lower star hotels usually do... but again, we only came for a weekend so survived without. At least there was soap! I also didn't enjoy the pop songs in the evenings, it would be nice to have something a bit more traditional or local to suit the place (but I get it that the hotel mostly caters for British holiday makers).

All of the staff at the hotel are very hardworking and friendly.

I suspect the alcohol is watered down. The food gets a bit repetitive.

My wife and I loved the peace of the island and the views from the shore. The staff were also friendly and, mostly, helpful.

The food wasn’t great. It was bland and unappealing for the most part. Several of the guests we spoke to also commented about this. Additionally, the beach front was littered with cigarette butts (ick) and a few of the sun beds and umbrellas were broken. They also used juice concentrate for their drinks and watered down all their sodas. All-in-all, we were disappointed and we won’t be back.
