The room looks like a brothel from a horror movie and is a chemical health hazard

From outside the street is in a good location. Book it if you enjoy chemical poisoning or if you want to film a horror movie.

The administrator proudly told us that we had been “upgraded” — and even at a lower price. What awaited us, however, was far from an upgrade. The moment we entered the room, a harsh chemical stench of disinfectant hit us like a wall. Within seconds, I was coughing uncontrollably, my partner’s eyes turned red and began to water. When I asked about it, the administrator calmly explained that they don’t wash the textiles — not the carpets, curtains, or bed coverings — but instead spray them with a disinfecting deodorant. I couldn’t help but ask if he would use that at his own home, or around his children. His answer? “I don’t have children, but no, I wouldn’t use this at home.” Beyond the chemical assault, the room itself looked like the set of a low-budget horror film — a carpet half-torn from the floor, curtains hanging by a thread, and a bed that clearly had stories it should never tell. The small desk was nothing more than splintered wood pretending to be furniture. Since the booking was non-refundable, I asked if they could make an exception. The administrator agreed — in words — but never followed through. In the end, I paid over a hundred euros for nothing and had to spend the evening searching for another place to stay.

Lost glory vibe

The staff was very friendly and the location is great

Our room facing the main square was very noisy. There was no kettle in the room to make yourself a coffee or tea. The mattress was too soft. The shower was missing one door. Overall not a very cozy room.

Pleasant beautiful place to visit

Location was excellent Absolutely loved it but walls could be painted in a more inviting colour, only one toilet roll, room was clean, plenty of clean towels every, all in all a very pleasant stay

Breakfast nice but 5-6 minutes walk not good !!, Hotel Bella Vista ,had problems getting in through gates, had to wait for a resident coming out through the gates before we could get in for breakfast. On arrival waited 20 mins to gain access to get into Anika Terrazza, no cupboard space for toiletries/no spare toilet rolls no hangers in wardrobe etc

Central location with great breakfast at the main hotel.

It was hard to find as it doesn’t have staff at the location. You have to check in at the main hotel and then they take you to your room back at the guesthouse.

A wonderful serene experience

The location was excellent as it was in the centre of Frascati and a train away from Rome. The breakfast was amazing and the all the staffs was very warm and welcoming and wonderful- Christiano, Katya, and the other staffs :) Would definitely stay at the hotel whenever im back in Rome- for sure!

I really enjoyed my time in Frascati and the hotel and location were perfect!

Breakfast was great! The super fresh Cornettos were delicious. The staff are all very friendly and kind.

It was confusing before checking in because my reservation indicated their guest house a few blocks away. Important for guests to check which hotel they are staying at. I ended up at the Bellavista hotel which was fine.

Great location with friendly staff but also with some issues

The location of the place was perfect for a two-night stay in Frascati! Everything nice was within walking distance for us. The staff were very nice to us and the room was clean and kept cool even during the blazing summer heat.

We had some issues with the room that sadly went unsolved during our stay: the room had a fridge but it didn't work and there was only ice-cold water in the shower. We tried to raise these issues with the staff, but sadly they didn't get addressed during our stay.

Best Place to stay in Frascati

Emanuele, Giola (the gorgeous lady), the restaurant staff in the morning breakfast, all staff were very friendly, lovely, nice and helpful. They always have a smile on their face. All amenities including lots of restaurants are nearby. Train station just 1 minute walk. Beautiful view from our room. I had a great time staying at Bellavista Antica Terrazza Frascati.

Splendid - a perfect place to relax after a day sightseeing in the centre

We loved the warm friendly atmosphere - nothing was too much trouble for the staff . Beautiful clean towels each day . Bottles of water and a wonderful varied breakfast . Loved Frascati - enjoyed eating in the local diners . Very easy journey into Roma and cheap transport .

Great location and very friendly staff, very clean. Generous breakfast and courtesy bottles of water.

Shower temperature very hit and miss. Cleaning products used to clean the bedrooms were slightly overpowering and we needed to leave the window open for a while on arrival.
