A Little gem in Saranda

Villa Saral Mar is located on top of a hill with a beautiful view over Saranda. If you arrive by ferry, google maps may guide you through a rather steep route, but there is another one, much easier and more pleasant way via Rruga Sheme. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. We had a nicely decorated, good-sized room with a modern bathroom and a great view, partly of the bay and partly of the mountains. The owner is very helpful and takes good care of his guests.

Spacious apartment with amazing rooftop views and exceptional hospitality!

The apartment is spacious and located within walking distance of both the city center and the public beach, which made exploring super convenient. One of the highlights was the rooftop, offering a stunning panoramic view of the city—perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The host is a fantastic person, and his parents are absolutely delightful. We never had a request they couldn’t fulfill, and their kindness made our stay truly memorable. If I return to this city, there’s a very good chance I’ll stay here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing Vila in Saranda

The host and his family are amazing. There are extremely nice people and very helpful. The flat is super clean and modern. The building has a nice rooftop to enjoy the view of Saranda. The flat is located less than 15min from the beach. We passed a very nice stay in this Vila. I can only recommend this location for your stay in Saranda

Perfect place to stay

The location was central to downtown but far away from noise. There was a washing machine and drying rack. Beat of all were the owners of the property - Albanian hospitality at its best!

Great location, very close to the centre of the action in Saranda

Best thing was the location, a 10 minute downhill walk to the front, uphill on the way back but no problem. Parking was great, off the road. Hosts were very helpful. The washing machine is communal, but no problem using it. The shower floods the bathroom but this is standard in Albania, the water was hot. Great view from the balcony.

The kitchen was a bit shabby, but functional.

Pleasant and relaxing stay in Sarande

The owner, Aldi, was very helpful and hospital. No matter what we asked for, he tried to assist us and we never felt that it was inconvenient for him. The room was brand new. The location is not far away from promenade and public beaches.

We liked our room but it was a bit small especially considering that we stayed there 4 nights.

Great value. Aldi was incredible, he looked after us very well. Great communication and he made the place have a chilled and friendly vibe. The room for clean and comfortable. Balcony had a lovely view. Best view was on the top floor where we enjoyed evening food and drink.

Aldi and his lovely Family were absolut fantastic Hosts in any way. We had a wonderful time in Sarandë and they helped us with everything and were always there for us. The flat was really comfortable and had everything we needed incl. well WiFi and an aircondition. The rooftop was a Highlight for us and had a wonderful View over the City and the sea. Also the way to our favorit beach, City Center and really good Restaurants, Aldi recommended to us, were just 10 min by foot away. We loved it at Aldis place and would come back!

This is one of the best travel experiences of my entire life. I lived in this villa for a whole month and can only rate it at the highest score. Of course, the main highlight is the owner of the villa - Aldi. He helped literally in every issue, said: - where is the best place to buy fruits, vegetables, bread; - personally took to his barber; - helped to choose places for traveling; - I personally met at the bus stop and took him to my place, moreover, he offered to pick me up from Tirana airport (but we refused). The villa has extraordinary cleanliness, order and silence (Aldi is very careful about this and it is important for him that all guests feel comfortable). Advantages: 1) Very large apartments, we were alone, but even the three of us will be very comfortable 2) VERY clean 3) Absolutely amazing view, I travel quite often, but I have never had such a view 4) Aldi is very worried about the silence and respects the wishes of the guests 5) Aldi helps in everything and solves any issue (for example, the guys who also lived with us in the villa helped with maintenance on the car) 6) We lived at a VERY good price 7) Villa in the center - 8 minutes to the beach 8) And when we left, he treated us to an absolutely amazing seafood dinner, although he definitely shouldn't have done it. 9) He personally met us at the bus stop and took to the villa by car, moreover, he offered to pick us up from Tirana airport (but we refused). It was amazing, I highly recommend this villa!

Amazing host - Always ready to help!

Shout-out to Aldi, one of the most helpful, most readily-available hosts we've had the chance to meet! The apartment itself is quite good. Clean, well-equipped and with a pretty good location, providing amazing views of the Sarande Bay. Regretting not having stayed for an extra night or two!

Not much to say. Internet can sometimes be a bit unreliable but nothing too serious. On the other hand, my only recommendation is to add some kind of shutters or blinds to the room window as it was quite difficult to sleep after 7am.
