Brilliant !!

We had a lovely two-night stay in the Avocet and Dartford Warbler rooms, with the Dartford Warbler overlooking the beautiful garden. Steph and Richard were incredibly welcoming, friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. The rooms were spotless and perfectly suited to our needs, with comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend this place !!

The only small thing was that activity started quite early in the morning - about six - but it didn't bother me much.

Lovely place, spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were wonderful. Such nice people as well. Just loved Oscar the fish ...

Steph and Richard are the loveliest hosts and we will definitely return to stay again if they will have us! They were so accommodating and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants, museums and other things to do locally! Room was scrupulously clean and beautifully presented. The ceiling fan was a big plus. Even the biscuits were exceptional. The local information sheet was useful and informative. Lovely garden and pond. A really calm and peaceful vibe. The hosts, Richard and Steph are lovely.

Really lovely and happy couple that take pride in providing the best for their customers. Richard and Steph ensure you have a comfortable and welcoming stay. Provide you with information of all the places you can visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the necessary items you would need, plus more. Lovingly furnished rooms and wonderful garden with plenty of seating to enjoy the outside. The breakfasts were excellent and the best I've had in a long time. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

There is nothing bad you can say about this place cleanliness/bed made when we were out which was a nice touch/coffee/tea /sugars and water all replenished as well everything was spotless and the breakfast set you up for the day and the hosts well what can you say top draw

Friendly hosts, excellent location, super comfy room

Excellent location, lovely room with a huge comfy bed, fantastic breakfast. Steph and Richard made us feel very welcome with nothing being too much trouble. The welcome folder in the room had everything we needed plus lots of ideas for things to do. We will definitely be staying again.

Lovely couple and great Bnb.

Lovely Bnb, the room was very nice and well decorated. The breakfast was superb and there was lots of choice for veggies. The hosts were also very kind and helpful. I really recommend this Bnb. Also the pond was stunning!

Visit to Monkey World

The location was really good only six miles from Monkey World. We received an excellent reception from Steph and Richard and they made us very welcome throughout our two night stay. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very good although it had to be ordered the night before. The garden was beautiful and very peaceful.

The property was not really disabled friendly, especially the shower. We didn’t like having to order the breakfast the night before.

A really pleasant stay!

My family had a very enjoyable family mini-break at Spurwing last week. The property is set in a very quite residential road, but close to Wareham station and town centre, also very close to Sandford, so a good base to visit the Isle of Purbeck. We stayed in the front bedroom, think it was named 'spoonbill'? (A wading bird for sure). The bedroom was well furnished, immaculate and had the largest bed I have ever slept in - bliss. Steph and Richard are really great hosts - the breakfast choice was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They were able to recommend local restaurants and even set the dining table for us to have a chinese take-away. My son loved the secluded back garden and watching the Koi swimming in the pond. What a shame it was only two nights we had and I'm not surprised to hear they are often fully booked. Highly recommended.

Only that having the private toilet/shower room directly across the shared corridor was slightly less than ideal - and the sliding shower door was a bit too tight for me to get in (the shower was really good).
