Dated but clean and comfortable.

Great location for our trip, close to train station and close to our destination.

Disappointing

It was very close to the ferry port and cheap.

I didn’t notice that latest check in was 9 until the day before. We got caught in traffic and when we phoned ahead we were told 9:30 was the absolute latest because the pub closes at 10pm. The mattress awful, the pillows and sheets very synthetic, the fridge and shower fittings were yellow with age. All in all a really uncomfortable night and we were glad to leave.

Comfortable room in pub close to the ferry & Old Town.

Small but well appointed room in a pub with a walk in shower. Friendly couple run the pub. Short walk to the Old Town for a good choice of restaurants. Ideal location for catching the early morning ferry.

Basic, but clean room near town.

Clean but basic room.Great location, in walking distance from the quay. Nice extras were a fridge in the room, a fan water bottles/ coffee/tea/biscuits. Can buy a nice breakfast in the pub.

Short but enjoyable

We were very happy at the greeting we Recieved and the friendly service in a very pleasant location

There was nothing that we believed could be improved the only criticism was the noise of boy racers outside on h hot night but we appreciate this is beyond the hotels control

Pleasant room to stay overnight before the voyage

It was alright to stay overnight before the early departure in the morning from the nearby ferry terminal. There's even a small fridge in the room.

The building and rooms are a bit dated but no surprises there. Unfortunately, we got the room facing the road nearby so it wasn't very quite.

A basic room within walking distance from Quay area

It is a short distance from the Quay and centre area.

The room we were given had trouble with water pressure, we were told when checked in but there is nothing we could do about it. The shower was lukewarm and weak. People left good review about breakfast but when we left on Sunday there was no breakfast available. The property is a pub therefore if you need help with left luggage - it is not suitable.

Breakfast very good. But never heard of £1 an item, ie 1 sausage £1, 1 egg £1 etc and didn't stop presentation or taste, actually was cheaper than what I normally pay so good value. Room nice and clean.

Very comfortable stay with lovely home cooked food.

We had a great 2 nights stay here - the staff are lovely and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the home cooked food delicious and great value for money. Will definately book in again on any return trips to Poole.

A charming little inn, with excellent value options for dinner and breakfast, and a warm welcome.

The warm welcome from Lisa and the team at the Queen Mary Inn, combined with some very good value home cooking, incorporating a wide range of pub classics, was a real bonus. We chose the inn for its proximity to the RNLI in Poole - but will definitely return when another opportunity arises. It is small, but very peaceful, despite being adjacent to a very busy road.

The room was warm and comfortable with sound proofing. They offered a good choice of food and our dinner and breakfast were great, we had a happy stay.

Comfy bed. Very clean room. Plenty of towels etc. A tv that worked. Lol. Pub was ok, but spent most of our time in the old town. I will return again if we go back to Poole. No complaints whatsoever.
