Outstanding customer service, second to none, next to cleaningness which you rarely see. Location just outside of city, quite close to sea. Nicely decorated part of house with very tidy garden with great barbecue. All you need within the house to prepare meal, ammenities in kitchen and bathroom, owners have thought of it all and if you need anything additional, they are prompt to support. We enjoyed the garden and lunch outsude, nice hill view and birds. Walking distance big parking available- we recomend a car. Overall strong recomendation and we would be back!

Feeling at home away from home

Family house taken care by its owners who happens to live right on top of it. Everything was perfect, with some many details for all us, children and adults to make our stay as pleasant as possible and more. To highlight hosts, who provided all needed information and prepared for our arrival super well, provided us with nice breakfast and indications to visit around Trieste and surrounding.

The perfect little beach house

Casa Vacanze Barcola is a lovely family-run property less than 5 minutes' walk from the Barcola seaside promenade and beach. The apartment is modern, extremely clean and comfortable - it's clear that a lot of care has gone into every little detail, from the breakfast cereal, biscuits and tea/coffee supplied to the cable/Netflix TV sets in both areas, to the washing machine and bikes that can be used by guests. We were a group of five and had a very comfortable stay, although the apartment is ideal for a couple. The apartment comes with a lovely patio where you can eat or chill. Communication is excellent - the owners are wonderful people who go beyond the call of duty to make guests feel comfortable. An excellent choice, 5 minutes' bus from Trieste station and a few steps away from Barcola beach.

Ingrid was super nice and gave us a lot of advice for Trieste! She also prepared some breakfast food for us which was super nice of her! I would recommend this place!

For 5 people it gets kind of small, which was to be expected of course, so not a contra if you chose this place, just a side note. The sleeping sofa is not too comfortable but for a couple of nights sufficient :)

Superb place to stay

Friendly and informative hosts who provide great tips on activities and attractions in the local area.We loved all their recommendations. The apartment was spacious and modern and had everything we needed and more.The garden area was a wonderful place to hang out. We rode the free bikes along the coast to Castillo Miramare...a fantastic stay

Everything was great! The accommodation was well equipped. We also appreciated the bedstead for our little baby. We loved sitting in the garden, because was amazing location in the calm part of the city. Close to the accomodation is situated the bakery, bus stop and gelateria and restaurants. You can walk to the Barcola, one of the most beautiful walks around the sea in Europe. The hosts were great and they do their job with all their heart. We felt like at home. Thank you a lot Lamberto et Ingrid!

The sofa bed could be a little harder :-)

Best way to see Trieste

Made so welcome. Very helpful. Very clean apartment. Area was great, most facilities around and nice to be out of city centre, but only a short bus ride away. Garden was useful for outdoor eating and relaxing as Bathing was a unique Trieste experience. Highly recommended.

The apartment is in a very nice locality, close to the beach and smaller shops. Lamberto was a perfect host, explained everything to the smallest details and gave us tips what to see in Trieste and surrounding. He had bicycles ready for all of our family which is convenient in the area. The apartment was super clean and had all possible equipment. Lamberto brought us a welcome drink and refreshment when we arrived. This was one of the best accommodations booked via Booking we have ever had. Thank you and we hope to come back.

Lovely place with a great host

Our host greeted us with some snack and with a glass of wine/orange juice for the kids. There was also a bottle of water in the fridge, plus some milk and cereal, croissant for breakfast. There is also a good bakery nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Vacanze Barcola very much. It’s a really very nice and well equipped Appartment, and a wonderful garden. The host Lamberto is very friendly and provided me with helpful Informations. Parkingplace is nearby. Milk, coffee, biscuits, butter and other things were available for breakfast, as well as a lot of useful things in bathroom, etc. When I will be travelling again to Triest, I will book again in Casa Vacanza Barcola!

Perfect accomodation for a holiday in Trieste

We couldn‘t have imagined a better accomodation for our short holiday in Trieste. The appartment is perfectly equipped and lovely decorated with many details. The garden invites to hang out outside. Even when the weather wasn’t good at some days of our stay, we enjoyed staying in the beautiful appartment for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and courteous and always available for any issues. We will definately visit Casa Vacanze Barcola again! ☺️

Would stay here again

Everything! The owner was welcoming, very clean, and the room had everything we needed and more. Lamberto toured us around the home and showed us a book he made that had a lot of information about things to do in Trieste. He had water, milk, butter and snacks at the house for us as well. For kids, he had toys available for my kids to enjoy. That was great especially since we didn’t bring any and there is still a curfew due to COVID. The place was wonderful and we would stay here again. (All photos were taken as we about to leave the home)
