ADDRESS: VIA BOVETO 41 - 50 sqm apartment. on the ground floor in an independent villa with private garden at 300 mt. from the sea and 2 km from the city center. Resident owners in the upper floor. Located in a quiet private road with wide open views Karst plateau and the Sanctuary of Monte Grisa. Composed of a kitchen / living room fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed and large closet. Possibility of further two places in the sofa bed in the living room. Cot, changing mat and high chair provided. Fully equipped kitchen with all the dishes, refrigerator, freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, Italian Moka coffee maker, kettle, iron and basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, oil olive oil, vinegar and detergent). TV / Monitor LED Samsung flat screen 24 inches, with USB and satellite antenna. WI-FI. Underfloor heating and a wood stove in the stove. Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, bidet, hair dryer and clothes horse. All sheets, blankets and towels are provided. Supplies basic toiletries included (soap, shampoo, bath gel, toilet paper). Private garden of 100 square meters. the exclusive use of guests, with: umbrella, table and chairs, sun loungers, outdoor shower, barbecue. Garage for one car. Given the proximity only 200 mt to a long bike path that will take you from Miramare Castle until the pedestrian center in the city, are provided for free for guests to use bicycles 6: 4 for adults (one with a child seat) and 2 for children 4/8 years. They also provide the games for children including a slide. Possibility to use washing machine. Free shuttle service to and from the Central Railway Station. Possibility transport / return to and from the airport (contact the owner).

The apartment was very clean and decorated very beautifully. The host provided everything we needed including coffee, milk, bottled water and breakfast items. Lamberto made our trip totally stress free. He picked us up from the airport, dropped us off at the train station both days and dropped us off at the port for our cruise. He is the very best host. I highly recommend this apartment. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I’m in the area again.

This home is beautifully done. The hosts were wonderful! The house was stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Great location. Make sure you take stroll along the Adriatic sea and grab coffee or Prosecco.

It exceeded our expectations (and they were high)! :) Beautiful quiet area, near the see, nice view from lovely terrace/garden. Inside, it is beautifuly arranged, and equiped with more than you need :). We were surprised with all the details of the care we received. Villa Sisko is truly an excellent location when visiting Trieste!

We stayed at Villa Sisko in mid-October for a week and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Ingrid and Lamberto are incredible hosts and did everything to make our visit as comfortable and easy as possible, picking us up at the train station, preparing a delicious ragu pasta lunch complete with appetizers and prossecco upon our arrival, having our laundry done, and arranging a cab service back to the train station when we had to leave extra early on our last day! The Villa is situated in a neighborhood of Barcola, which is a 5-10 minute bus ride or 25 minute walk to Trieste along the Adriatic coastline. Barcola itself offers many dining options along the coastline, and is within walking distance to Castello Miramare (Maximillian's castle). The walk from the apartment to the water is about 5 minutes, and bikes are available (in the villa garage). The apartment had everything needed to get started (starter milk, toast, fruit and snacks) and had all the amenities of home, including a fully equipped kitchen. There is a nice literature rack in the kitchen area that has all of the information needed to explore Trieste as well as nearby Slovenia and Croatia. Lamberto took us through a booklet he and Ingrid created of suggested places to visit (tourist attractions, coffee houses, and restaurants). Visitors enjoy their own private garden area complete with lounge chairs, dining table, and a hammock. We definitely plan on coming back to Trieste and will be sure to book Villa Sisko for our next visit! Thank you Ingrid and Lamberto!

If I could give more stars I would. This place is exceptional. Clean, everything you need to cook, store close by (about a 10 minute walk), fantastic restaurants, and a beautiful view of the mountain side. Very quiet. The host/hostess Ingrid and Lamberto went that extra mile that you dont see that often anymore these days. If you have any questions about your travel plans, Lamberto will help you figure out a good plan. This place is close to Slovania (rental car needed) and Rovinj (Croatia. Passport needed and rental car when travel) and a perfect place as your base (home!). We were quite bummed to leave as we just loved this apartment and town. Trieste is beautiful and big! But the location of this place gives you a small town feel. Highly recommend the caves... Giggante Grotto (#42 bus - note there are two 42 busses so ensure you get on the right one). The villages above the city are absolutely charming. Shopping in Trieste is better on your budget than a bigger tourist town. Additionally, the Slovenia towns won my heart. Just absolutely beautiful. Very close to Trieste. Several caves in Slovania are close by if you have the time. Lamberto and Ingrid will guide you. The snacks and wine that they offered and the necessities in the fridge when we arrived were perfect and went over and beyond what is usually offered. We have rented a lot of apartments in our travels and these people really care about their guests. And you will care about them too because of their overwhelming kindness and patience. Highly recommend.

It was our second stay in the lovely apartment in the Villa Sisko. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and it was nice to meet our hosts Ingrid and Lamberto again! This place is definitely "a home from home"! And we are already looking forward to return to Villa Sisko. My recommendation: do not think twice - make your reservation today! :-))

We have been 10 days guest of Ingrid and Lamberto in their beautifully appertement . Lamberto has taken us from the train station and a short sigth seeing the beautiful city of Trieste. On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and delicious snacks. What a hospitality . We had a wonderful holiday without a car, which was totally fine. Bus and train all close . We'd recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly. Ingrid and Lambero again thanks !!

We were in Trieste for a week. Villa Sisko is perfectly situated and beautifully decorated. You do not need a car. Lamberto and Ingrid were great hosts, quickly responding to our questions while preparing our trip from Canada and addressing any needs/questions we had while in Trieste. They really make you feel at home. Whether you want to relax or explore, Villa Sisko is a great place to do it from. While in Trieste, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Grotta Gigante and to have a superb evening dinner at Osteria Istriano - Ask Lamberto. We would definitely return and highly recommend. We had a very good time (14 days) in the apartment. Triest center is to reach by bus within 10 minutes. And the famous coast of Barcola is to reach on foot. The apartment is very comfortable with an elegant bathroom, kitchen line with all equipment you need etc. The friendly apartment owner picked us up from the train station. Ett boende vi varmt kan rekommendera. Boende är av mycket hög klass. Det har allt det man behöver och inget saknas. Vi fick ett varmt mottagande av ägarna och bjöds på välkomstdrink med tilltugg. De bjöd även på ett startpaket med dricka, kakor, flingor, kaffe och the. Vi hade tillgång till egen trädgård med solsängar, parasoll och bord. När vi anlände fick vi väldigt mycket information om Trieste, stränder, kultur, restauranger, vilket vi uppskattade. Stort tack till Ingrid och Lamberto!!

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man merkt daß die Vermieter Liebe zum Detail bei der Einrichtung haben walten lassen. Die Wohnung ist komplett eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht und entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung im Internet. Der Empfang war auch sehr persönlich und herzlich mit einem kleinen Snack und einer Flasche Seco zur Begrüßung durch Lamberto. Einziger Nachteil ist die Parksituation am Haus, man musste auf einem öffentlichen, kostenfreien Parkplatz parken, der zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt war. Wir können uns vorstellen, die Wohnung bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Triest wieder zu buchen.

Sehr schöne und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Sehr nette Vermieter, die uns sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen haben. Die Lage ist ideal: Nähe zum Stadtzentrum, zum Schloss Miramare und zu Bademöglichkeiten. Durch die vorhandenen Fahrräder konnte auf das Auto in vielen Fällen verzichtet werden.

Een heel aangenaam praktisch ingericht vakantie- appartement. De eigenaars hebben werkelijk aan alles gedacht. Alle nodige materiaal is voorhanden, zowel qua keukengerei als peper, zout, olie, azijn etc.... Ingrid en Lamberto zijn supercharmante en behulpzame mensen. We zijn al heel dikwijls op vakantie-appartementen geweest maar zo een warm welkom én uitleg over de streek hebben we nog nooit gehad! Zeker een aanrader!

Sehr angenehme Vermieter. Sind da, wenn man sie braucht, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ein wunderbarer Überraschungs-Begrüßungssnack mit Prosecco und für den nächsten Tag, alles was man so zum Frühstück braucht. In unmittelbarer Nähe ein Bäcker mit Wursttheke und anderen Kleinigkeiten. 5 Gehminuten zum Bus nach Triest und Miramare. 10 Min. zum kleinen gut sortierten Supermarkt, zum Tabakladen, Apotheke und Post. Alles wunderbar. Aber ganz schrecklich, die Eisenbahnlinie, die in ca. 50m Luftlinie und sichtbar, etwas oberhalb der Wohnung entlang führt. Es kommen ca. alle 6,5 Min. laut ratternde Personen- und Güterzüge. Furchtbar. Nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen war ganz unmöglich. Bei geschlossenem Fenster zu warm. Wir haben 7 Nächte schlecht geschlafen. Aus diesen Grund werden wir leider nicht mehr in diese sehr schöne Wohnung kommen können. Tut uns so leid für Ingrid und Lamberto.

A very well-kept, nicely and thoughtfully furnished apartment with attention to every detail, the patio and garden for personal use are perfect. The pictures reflect the real situation 100%. Thank you to our considerate, helpful and charming hosts, Ingrid and Lamberto for a very pleasant stay! The welcoming snack and the well-stocked fridge for our first breaktfast were greatly appreciated. German TV, WiFi, restaurant recommendations etc., etc. are perks on top. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, alles liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet- wir fühlten uns spontan sehr wohl! Seit über 15 Jahren mieten wir Ferienhäuser oder -wohnungen und diese hier war eine der schönsten! Sehr nette Vermieter und prima Lage für kurzen Weg an den (Stein)Strand oder in die Altstadt. Ein Trip nach Venedig mit dem Zug vom Hauptbahnhof in Triest mit 2h Fahrt war der Höhepunkt unseres Urlaubes... Liebe Grüsse nach Triest

Eine geschmackvoll eingerichtete komfortable Ferienwohnung erlaubt angenehme Urlaubstage um Triest, Istrien und den Karst zu entdecken. Der Empfang des sehr aufmerksamen Vermieterpaares mit Prosecco und kleinem Imbiss ist besonders hervorzuheben. Auch sonst sind ihre umfassenden Tipps auch in Form von Karten und Prospekten sehr hilfreich. Leider konnten wir den kleinen gepflegten Garten mit Esstisch, Liegen und Hängematten wegen des kühlen Wetters nur einen Tag genießen.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit einem wunderbaren Apéro verwöhnt. Lamberto hat uns alles bestens erklärt und ist für das Wohlbefinden sehr bemüht - ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Bäckerei und ein tolles Restaurant sind zu Fuss erreichbar; auch die Innenstadt von Triest ist schnell erreicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt Fußläufig zum Meer (3Min). Unsere Vermieter haben uns vor der Tür willkommen geheißen. Die Wohnung wurde gezeigt und erklärt was wo zu finden ist (z.B. Fön, Wäscheständer, etc.). Für die Umgebung bekamen wir einen Plan mit eingezeichneten Geschäften, sowie für die Innenstadt von Triest. Das war sehr viel wert, so musste man keine Zeit mit eigenen Recherchen vergeuden. Die beiden Vermieter sind sehr liebenswert und haben sich um sämtliche Anliegen gekümmert, bzw. diese im Vorfeld umgesetzt (Babybett, Hochstuhl). Die Wohnung selber ist sehr schön hergerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Villa Sisko. Die Wohnung ist modern und geschmackvoll mit Liebe eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Fotos im Internet geben die Wohnung korrekt wieder. Die Verkehrsanbindung in die Innenstadt mit dem Bus ist gut. Wir mieten für unsere Urlaube immer Ferienwohnungen an, aber so nette Vermieter hatten wir bisher noch nie. Lamberto holte uns am Bahnhof ab und zeigte uns die Stadt. Ein Abendessen für uns war vorbereitet und wurde im Garten serviert. Lamberto ist ein toller Koch. Es gab auch eine Flasche Prosecco. Die Betreuung war hervorragend aber niemals aufdringlich. Wir können die Wohnung bestens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Grazie mille Ingrid und Lamberto
