Wonderful stay with family in Pais

We were with 6 persons snd loved the 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. And the location is wonderful. Metro nearby and nice shops.

Another one or two comfortable chairs would be nice in the living room, the dishwasher needs some maintenance .

Warm & comfy winter stay in Paris

Location was very good, in a quiet street off Rue Poncelet and walking distance to 2 Metro stations. Owner was responsive and adequate stocking of supplies whenever we required so. The place was warm enough during winter. Check in was very easy and the owner helped us to regarding check-out timing in responsive & friendly manner. Great value for money in this area!

Whole apartment was quite small in size, especially the toilet and shower areas. The family staying above us was quite noisy at times, but we managed to sleep well on nights they are gone.

Close to city center.

Broken ac. Leaking water and nobody cared to be fixed. No lights in the kitchen area. Very noisy place because builders were working nearby. Bad communication with owner. Very bad smell in the flat because of the leaking water. Bed and the sofa were notcomfortable. Nobody wanted to help.

Be Aware of the AC Situation

Mixed Experience – Be Aware of the AC Situation We recently stayed at this apartment in Paris and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent and the apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and as described in many ways (especially the bathrooms and bedrooms), the air conditioning was a major issue. That said, the management was responsive and polite, and they allowed us to drop our luggage early, which we appreciated.

The listing advertised AC, but it turned out to be a single unit requiring an open window in the living room. In order for it to run, you had to hang a hose out an open window, which severely reduced its effectiveness—especially during a heat wave. The bedrooms had no AC at all, and the living room unit wasn’t strong enough to cool the entire apartment. When we contacted management, we were told to open the bedroom windows, but that just made the situation worse and didn’t solve the problem. To be clear, in my opinion, this setup does not qualify as an air-conditioned apartment. This was disappointing, especially given how hot it was during our stay. I found it very difficult to sleep. Despite raising our concerns on the first day, we received no fans and no adjustment in price, and Booking.com only replied on the day of our checkout. Bottom line: If air conditioning is important to you, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment. But if AC isn’t a concern, this is a well-located, clean, and otherwise pleasant place to stay, with kind and professional management. ***FYI-the last pic is of the apartment next to us that had the same AC set up. These pics should give you a sense of what to expect.

Amazing location. Apartment was great in everything and staff very courteous and always available to your needs in every way possible. The neighborhood is safe and lovely. Close shops, bakery, cafes and groceries which makes it very nice especially when traveling with kids. I felt safe and comfortable. Metro is very close and easily accessible.

Although it says it has A/C it really doesn’t. They provided one small portable A/C unit which requires you keeping a window open to let the hot air out so it struggles to actually cool inside. Regardless that small unit is not sufficient to cool the entire apartment but only one room. Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave and it was unbeatable. Thankfully the owners provided fans which made it ok. This apparent is wonderful but not during a heat wave!

Worst experience so far. Look somewhere else if you can. This experience was like a scam to us.

Lack of service - Paris had a heat wave and we stayed in the apartment for three days without an AC, which the host claimed that it had AC on its property description. All three of us could not fall asleep well for three straight nights due to the extreme heat and the construction noise outside, especially we were on the top floor which had a metal roof. All the heat just trapped in the apartment without proper air circulation (no window in the living room). We asked to have the AC fixed but the host could not do and we asked for a fan, which was only brought to us on the last night we stayed. Two of us got sick due to the lack of sleep and the heat. Aware of size - The apartment was so much smaller than the photos and we did not know which room we would get until we checked in. The living room did not have a window. You can tell that the bathroom was being renovated in a way that could squeeze in the shower and the sink. Lack of communication - Host wasnot readily available. He had a handyman taking care of stuff who was not always available to help either. Handyman came and could not get in as we were not there. Air-conditioning - the host claimed that it had air-conditioner in the apartment, but it was not functioning at all. We told the host on the first night that the AC was blowing hot air out, but he blamed us that we did not know how to switch it on properly. We asked him to come and fix it the second day and he sent a person to come and take a look. The host did not tell me when this person would come and that person did not have a key to get in. We told him to come and fix it or bring a fan to us when we came back but he refused and said his handyman was not available. We only got a fan the last night we stayed. Two of us got sick due to the heat and the lack of sleep. Overpriced - We chose this place because it said it had AC, which we certainly did pay more for having this when we were comparing it with other properties.

Highly recommended!

The apartment is in a great location - near shops, Aldi, metro. Arc de Triomphe was 10 minutes from the apartment by walk. The neighbourhood was quiet. It was comfortable and well equiped. I will definitely consider booking this place again when we come back to Paris :)

We spent four days with five people and had a very nice time.

The flat is very well located in a small passage in a nice neighbourhood close to the Arc de Triomphe, the nearest metro is not far away. Many good shops and restaurants are within easy reach, as well as a garage for parking. The equipment of the flat corresponds to the description, everything we needed was available.

The apartment had a nice layout it was decorated nicely. It had extra amenities not usually found in Paris properties like AC, washer and dryer, dishwasher and towel heater. Location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Less than 10 minute walk to Metro (Termes). Supermarket, excellent bakeries and eateries in less than 5 minute walk.

No elevator available (but that is usually not found in properties in Paris).

Great location, really nice part of Paris. Easy to get to, quiet street. Facilities in property are reasonable and good amount of bedroom space, but comfortable seating (sofas) not sufficient for property size (sofa for 3 people, apartment for 6) Great property if you just want a base but if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the apartment I would look for a more comfortable place. Host is very friendly, helpful and responsive

General cleanliness is good, sheets clean etc but state of property is worn, broken door handles, grubby corners etc. Main issue is sound travelling between apartments. We were second floor and it was exceptionally noisy from above in the morning (at 5am) - I directly asked the occupants to be quieter, as did the host but unfortunately they didn't. I think it would be ok if there were respectful people above, but if you are unlucky it's really noisy.

No space (as in advertisement there should be space and windows) no windows, only one on the rooftop. you can hear all neighbor, verry noisy not from outside, but from the inside. Very disappointing

Location was great

The apartment was disgusting. There were suspicious stains in the toilets, under the table and the doors. The pillows smelled very bad. We did not have any hot water and electricity for a day. The air cond was not working. The pictures on Booking only show the best apartment on the second floor. The others are in poor conditions.

Based on being in Paris - it was a good location to get around in and every convenience we needed was close by. It was also on the first floor so we didn’t have to hike too far up.

The location of the villa is fantastic. We were really able to immerse ourselves in the local neighborhood and it's an easy walk or metro ride to anywhere you'd want to go.

We were not given access to the premises despite having paid for it more than 3 months before the visit. We were informed while traveling that we had to approve an additional Euro500. We were not able to do this, our banks did not authorise the payment to the link provided. We communicated this to the agent. My family sat in front of the accommodation and asked for access, but were denied. We had to find alternative accommodation. This is robbery in my view.

Very uncomfortable for family of 4. Everything was very run down and didn’t seem to be well kept. Worst pillows ever. Weird smell. Very uncomfortable kitchen. There was a €500 deposit charge which was a hassle to get the bank to process it as the interface of the transaction was different from Booking.com. I think it’s an unreasonable ask for such a high deposit considering the conditions of the apartment. The ceiling had a leak that was in process of being repaired.
