Gem of a place in a most wonderful location

Absolutely wonderful location and just a gorgeous place to stay. So comfortable and cosy just loved it !

Not much to dislike but the lack of a lift ( and we were on the third floor)

We weren't expecting anything as fine and relaxing it was a great place to explore the area.

What an amazing place, you were right next to the Loch and the canal and it was quiet despite the area being very busy in the day with coach partied. The Boatman Restaurant is a great place serving fresh food looking out onto Loch Nesss

We were up a number if flights if stairs but once you got all your stuff up it was fine.

Historical highlight in the Loch Ness region

This is an exceptionally good place to stay and explore the walks and towns of Loch Ness. We loved that we could come home to a comfortable apartment and cook a meal and have a bath. The swim in the chapel was very special also.

The Abbey is a very historical group of buildings set in beautiful gardens. Our apartment was one of the less expensive

The Abbey grounds were lovely.

The apartment was on the third floor with no lifts so luggage was a hassle, the pool changing area was tiny with no complimentary soap or shampoo. The sauna was very small and the steam room wasn’t hot . And on our last day the shower in our apartment did not supply hot water…

Amazing place to stay

Despite a difficultly at check in due to an administrative error we soon found our apartment and had a fantastic stay. The staff where extremely helpful.

Unfortunately the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and there was very loud noises from next door room early hours if the morning (sounded like they was moving furniture?)

Fabulous weekend break

The feeling of coziness the moment we walked in to the apartment. Warm welcome and tour of the abbey. Property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of activities, we used the gym, pool and steam room which were great. Proximity to the town and Loch Ness was excellent.

Exceptional

The flat was well equipped and everything was new and clean. People who manage the property were extremely helpful. The Raven Wing has three floors and we were on the top floor. The entrance to The Cloisters where the swimming pool is 20m away from The Raven Wing which is convenient. Separate set of towels is given when you book the swimming pool for you to keep for the length of your stay, which I found quite environmentally friendly.

The whole apartment was amazing, had everything we needed. We would of loved to of stayed longer. It was great especially for the price. Beautiful area to stay and perfect location. Thank you

Great apartment close to centre of Fort Augustus

The apartment was excellent. It would help to be more clear about the provisions that would be provided. While a bottle of wine was very welcome a pint of milk would have been more practical. The Boathouse restaurant on site had reasonable food and great views over Loch Ness.

The apartment was up 2 flights of stairs and there wasn't a lift. Carting cases up the stairs was hard work.

It's a gorgeous building, the location on the lake is stunning and the apartment was comfy and well decorated.

The wifi didn't work very well but we were in a basement room.
