About this cottage rental
Within a very short walking distance to all Fort Augustus amenities. Original features remain in this super property including open stone wall surrounding the fireplace, exposed beams throughout the ground floor, solid wooden flooring and deep window sills. The property over two floors, is well equipped and benefits from oil central heating and double glazing throughout.
To the front of the property there is private off street parking large enough for several vehicles and a decked seating area with a BBQ that gets both the morning and evening sun.
The lounge is spacious and benefits from having a wood-burning stove and a smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob built into the island, with a washing machine, microwave, and plenty of storage cupboards. The dining table and chairs are of traditional pine and compliment the rest of the kitchen very well. The area under the stairs and opposite the front door is perfect for hanging coats and putting shoes after a day out. Finally, on the ground floor, the family bathroom has a shower over the large corner bath and has a washbasin and w.c. The new staircase leads from the kitchen to a good-sized landing area and two large double bedrooms, both with windows to the front overlooking the parking and decking area.
