Old School 14 sits on the second floor of St Benedict’s Abbey in Fort August and offers stunning views across the Abbey grounds and the hills beyond.
It is one of a few 3 bedroom apartments and can sleep up to 6 guests – in addition, the large mezzanine double bedroom has a bed suitable for a small child.
The original rose window, structural pillars, tasteful furniture and modern appliances make this apartment the perfect blend of tradition and style. Furthermore, the dining area, kitchen and living area are open plan and give a spacious yet cosy feel. Consequently, a great place to while away the evenings with family or friends.

Apartment was lovely and very well equipped and we enjoyed our stay. It would have been useful to know that it was at the top of several flights of steep stairs and we would have brought smaller bags rather than a suitcase. It would also have been useful to know there are no curtains/blinds at the main (beautiful) windows so those sleeping in the mezzanine would need sleeping masks if they did not want wakened by the sun.The on site facilities were fabulous but I felt the staircase in the old school section was a bit grubby.

Great location, if you want to explore the highlands of Scotland, the property was very clean the staff was amazing! I would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay near locness this is it.
