Ula's Holiday Apartments

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She personally met us at the bus stop, accompanied us to the accommodation, and stayed in touch both after the booking confirmation and throughout our stay. She provided valuable information about places to visit, attractions along the way, and local specialties that made our trip even more enjoyable. On top of that, she surprised us with a homemade cake and a thoughtful farewell gift, which was a wonderful gesture. Her hospitality exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The main thing to keep in mind when using public transportation is the bus schedule: during peak hours, buses run approximately every 30 minutes, while at other times, they typically operate once every hour.

Ula’s place was perfect for us. The apartment was super clean and comfortable, and the view is amazing. On top of all Ula made us feel right at home and helped us with everything we needed. The communication with her was clear as day. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We will definitely stay at this place again next time we’re in the area:)

Lovely mountain and lake views. Property was easy to get to, good parking and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Ula is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to provide information and answer any questions etc

Everything was great

Excellent location and view over mountains and Lake Thunesee. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Convienient for public transport (bus) which can be free if you complete an online form. Niederorn Gondola and Fernicular about 2/3 miles away by car or bus. Felt like a home from home. Consider Swiss Half Price Pass and Berner Oberlander Pass if staying for a week or more, as both proved very beneficial for us.
