Ricasoli Apartment

The location is ideal and the apartment was very quiet. The view from one of the rooms is beautiful. The apartment is very large with two full bathrooms. The living room is beautiful and comfortable. The AC is excellent.

The stovetop coffee pot had not been cleaned for a long time and had been left closed, so a white mushroom (like the ones on the forest floor) had grown inside. We found the pot on the highest shelf, and then had to dig out the very hard, firm white mushroom in order to clean out the pot (both the basket for the grounds and the water reserve). When we realized the it had not been cleaned for so long we were concerned that the rest of the kitchen might be dirty. The apartment was clean but not cleaned carefully. There was a detached door in the bedroom that could have injured someone if it fell over. Even though I requested late checkout 24 hours in advance, someone from the management company walked into the apartment unannounced at the regular checkout time (not the time I had requested).

It was a beautifully furnished, large apartment in a perfect location

As an old apartment it is a little musty and needs to be aired. The entrance and lobby were quite dilapidated
