So homey and lovely to come back to after touring! It had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. We didn’t have a car, but could easily walk from the train station, walk to Abbotsford, and catch buses nearby.

Everything! Sheena was a fabulous host, very caring, helpful and attentive. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was far more than that, even having a washing machine and drier; and microwave. It was great to relax in the seperate living space. Although not a huge breakfast, it was enjoyable and more than adequate-self serve. Ideas for what's available in the area, are provided. We have to also thank Sheena very much, for coming to our rescue.

Everything I needed for my short stay was provided. The right amount of self serving breakfast options so we could have our privacy. Beautiful...in fact perfect layout for the bedroom, bathroom etc. The host was so friendly and we had such brilliant communication with her from a slight delay in our arrival due to adverse weather, to parking, to suggestions for food out, visits etc and local area knowledge. The rooms were pristine, the price was well worth the quality I received. We will be back soon if we can get booked in coz this really is a little gem!!

Great location to visit Melrose and Abbotsford the home of Sir Walter Scott is less than 3 minutes away and is a must visit. Sheena the owner had thought of everything and was very engaging.
