Staff very helpful. I was due to arrive late but this was no problem. They were very polite and helpful.
Outer decor/paintwork needs improved, it looked a bit tatty. Also breakfast finished at 9am on a Saturday. This seems excessively early. I’d expect breakfast to be served until 10 at weekends.

Updated room. Very warm, clean and welcoming.
Bed was very comfortable
The shower over the bath. Very poor pressure and temperature poorly controlled.
Would have preferred an electric shower

Breakfast was very good, location was good also.
We drove from Yorkshire around 4 hours in torrential rain and arrived a little late, it was about 19.30 on arrival and was told we had missed the evening meal.
