Central location to train station and city area, stay here

We so loved staying here and the apartment had everything you could need. Very secure, 5 minute walk to train station and city area, quiet location and very secure carpark included. The host was so lovely and helpful. The shower was fabulous, the bed was the most comfortable bed to sleep on, excellent facilities in the apartment, so much attention to detail and so clean too. Wifi was great. Would I recommend this apartment, absolutely yes.

Wonderful stay, great host

Lovely one bedroom house with well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining area, comfortable bed, and wonderful thick white towels. Tucked away at the back of the property, an easy walk from the station and shops. We were able to park our rental car either on the property or at the free parking zone, a five minute walk away. Our host, Christelle, was in constant contact with us and was very kind and helpful.

Short but perfect stay

We were looking for somewhere in Tours on our way back to Dieppe. We had our car with us so we were looking for somewhere we could park securely. This apartment was perfect for this and much more besides. The apartment is decorated in a style that we call rustic minimalism which we both like. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The first apartment we have stayed in on this six week trip to Europe where a tea towel is provided. Thank goodness. So many things have been thought through. For example, condiments, all beautifully labelled and presented in glass jars, a kettle, a toaster, oven gloves, fluffy big towels. Bed nice and big and very comfortable. This is so important as sleep is key to having a good next day. This place is deserving of a 10 for sure. BTW. Tours is a cool place. Very bohemian. We liked the city a lot.

Fabulous apartment, great location

What a fabulous apartment close to the train station, with everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The offstreet parking is a huge plus. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to cook at home, and there’s a great living space as well. Christelle was available if we needed her, but the apartment is totally separate. We would definitely recommend this apartment to any couple staying in Tours.

Awesome pied à terre

The house was very comfortable with up to date decoration and amenities. It is centrally located near the train station and office of tourism. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived and communicated when needed during our stay. Great trip!

Firstly, this place is well located, easy to drive to & from. Secondly it has secure parking. The accommodation is comfortable & well presented. Our host lives next door & is appropriately attentive without being too ‘close’.

Lovely apartment in a good location, friendly and helpful host.

Very nice, clean, comfortable apartment in a good location (just a few minutes walk from the station, not far from the main tourist attractions and amenities), with a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine. Christelle is a very welcoming and helpful host, and it was also lovely to meet her friendly and very talkative cat Babe!

Just a personal preference - I don't like the toilet being separate from the bathroom, although I do realise this is quite common in France.

It was not a problem for us as I could manage our luggage, but be aware that there are stairs to get into and out of the apartment - could be an issue if you have heavy luggage.

Very clean and practical. Everything needed to make the stay comfortable was provided. Good location. I loved the decor and the handbook provided was very informative.

The only set back about the property was a steep flight of steps up to the apartment. We had large heavy luggage and I might have booked else where had I known.

Cosy and fantastic house to enjoy your visit in Tours

It is a very cosy house in Tours, well located in a quiet and peaceful area. It is 15 minutes walking from the historical area of the city. The house was spotless, brand new, and equipped with all your needs for a comfortable stay (we are a family of four members). The vintage vibe and the brightness in the house created a pretty relaxing environment. Christelle was very accomodating and gave us all instructions to find everything we needed. The property has a park lot (useful). A supermarket around the area. Overall, perfect to enjoy your stay in Tours.

Great apartment for a one week stay in Tours.

Very well organised and furnished apartment, extremely clean and all facilities easy to use. Lovely kitchen and comfortable living area. Christelle was an excellent host, who checked how we were doing during the heatwave and provided an extra air cooler which was much appreciated.

Not a major issue, but cafétiere or coffee filter would have been useful for those of us who like coffee prepared that way. Guests with restricted mobility are likely to find the stairs difficult.

L'Atelier Du 6 and our host made our week in Tours so enjoyable! I would not hesitate to return!

Location was convenient to the train station and the tourist center. Also convenient location for renting bicycles, and lots of restaurants within a short walk. Our host, Christelle was fluent in English and French, always very gracious and gave prompt replies. She is obviously a very organized person, and the binder of owner manuals in the rental came in handy when using the clothes washer and dishwasher. We loved her well-outfitted kitchen and loved the power window shades. She graciously printed out COVID test results for us to make flight check in smoother. She even shared some freshly baked treats, and encouraged us to pick ripe strawberries from her little garden area! Great experience.

After the cute little foyer there are somewhat narrow stairway to access the apartment. That is the only negative I can possibly think of. Our extra-large luggage needed to be carried carefully up the stairs in order to not to cause damage. Everything was exceptionally lovely.

Christelle was very welcoming, and replied to messages very quickly. the apartment is amazing. The decor is wonderful, it was v clean and had everything we needed.
