Freundliche Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Relativ grosse Wohnung. Sehr gutes japanisches WC. Grosse und angenehme Betten. Moderner Waschtrockner. Kleine Küche. Genügend Platz für Gepäck. Mit dem Bus (207 u.a.) gut an viele Hauptattraktionen angebunden. Mit gut 15 Minuten noch fussläufig vom Bahnhof. An der Strasse einige kleinere Geschäfte und Frühstücksmöglichkeiten. Toji Tempel direkt gegenüber. Willkommenswasser und Ohrstöpsel.
Durch die mehrspurige Strasse vor allem nachts sehr laut. Wenig natürliches Licht. Notbeleuchtung über der Tür störend hell. Tempel und Schreine sind über die Stadt verteilt gelegen, daher kommt man sowieso nicht um Verkehrsmittel herum. Für rein fussläufige Stadteindrücke wäre Nähe Gion empfehlenswerter.

After staying in a cramped apartment in Tokyo this was amazing! So big. The beds were very comfortable but they only fit 2. The other 3 were thin mattresses on the floor which was ok for my 3 children (5,7&9) but any bigger and might be uncomfortable. Staff were lovely. Bathroom was great and the washing machine was great. It dried the clothes as well which was helpful when travelling.
It’s on a 4 lane road and was quite noisy. I don’t normally hear those noises but even I found it hard to go to sleep. Lucky I had ear plugs. It’s also not central to the action. If you want that book in Gion. However the 207 bus stops right outside and is about 20 mins to the centre so not too bad.

Loved the space in the kitchen and bathroom
The noise from the street traffic was relentless. It didn’t matter that we wore ear plugs, the constant street noise at all hours of the night meant that we had terrible sleeps. Even our apartment in Tokyo, while smaller, was more pleasant because it wasn’t as noisy.
