Great setup for a family or big group with all the modern necessities including multi lingual translations. Great showers, lots of aircon and a well equipped kitchen and smart TV. The hosts are such wonderful people…Takashi san picked us up from Kyoto station and dropped us back at the end of our stay which we really appreciated

Everything was great

This is a lovely house! Plenty of room and the house had all the necessities. Great communication with the hosts and they were so nice to pick up and drop off my family of six to the Kyoto station.

The host was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive to our family throughout the stay. The guesthouse was comfortable, clean, and in a great location for exploring Kyoto.

Nothing at all—our stay was wonderful and everything met our expectations.

The house was clean, modern, and well maintained. The host was friendly and welcoming, and kindly offered pickup from the station. He also thoughtfully provided bottled water and some snacks, which was a nice touch.

Upon arrival, he provided a very detailed walkthrough of the property and its amenities, which lasted about 30 minutes. While thorough and well-intentioned, it was more extensive than I would typically expect. During the stay, the host stopped by to collect trash and water plants, notifying me a couple of hours in advance. While I appreciate that these efforts were intended to ensure guests have a good experience, the hosting style felt a bit try-hard and more hands-on than I personally prefer. The host was always courteous and well-intentioned, but some guests may prefer a little more privacy and independence during their stay.
