The place was fully renovated, and had a lot of modern utilities. The small garden next to the living room also gave a very homey feel to the place, which also had an automated irrigation system. The bedrooms were spacious, and had wardrobes to put away our clothes. Also liked that it has 2 restrooms, especially important as there is on the 2nd floor. The owner met us on our arrival and showed us around the house, she was really kind and helpful. Overall this made our experience very smooth. The accommodation is just walking distance from Kyoto station, so it's a good central hub to reach important areas via Bus or the Trains.

Nothing comes to mind, it was an extremely good place to stay, with comfortable options.

Absolutely beautiful. Photos are accurate. Clean. Spacious (especially after staying in Tokyo). Quiet neighbourhood. Felt safe. Close to Kyoto Station. Had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Owner was lovely. Met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house.

It said 3 bedrooms but was basically 2 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds in 2 other rooms, which weren’t made up for our stay. One bedroom had 2 futons and the other had a double bed. It worked out for us though.

Check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated being able to check in early. The host was friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed.

This has been my favourite place to stay in while visiting Japan. It is a newly developed property and everything is perfect. The layout means there is lots of spaces, so it was nice to have rooms and nooks for everyone to get some time to themselves. It is beautiful. Great location and the host was lovely.
