Room 1 - ticked (almost) all the boxes for me.

Room 1 worked for me. Nice and warm, curtains that closed, a good size, enough sockets, terrestrial TV, a table to eat at in view of the TV, good wifi and a reasonable amount of kitchenware. Oh and a fab location. Had a great nights sleep.

My perpetual moan is that as a female solo traveller, I'd like a way to feel more secure behind the entry door. The inability to double lock it has me devising other ways to barricade myself in.

Room 2 - it's ok, does the job.

Room 2 on the 1st floor, a room I know well. The layout is ok, the kitchen is useful and the bed comfy enough. My door code worked, always a plus, and they've turned the heating on, which makes such a difference. The TV worked well, albeit with no terrestrial channels, and the Internet performed.

Not the venue's fault but street noise on the front at this level can be a bit much, I was awoken a couple of times in the small hours. The kitchen utilities are sparing - e.g. for warming up my soup, I had the choice between a frying pan and a huge crock pot type pan! Only one cutting knife and it was tiny, not really much good for bread. There's no headboard on the bed and the pillows aren't really thick enough to shield you from the shelf behind, which makes for uncomfy sitting.

Decent. Can be maintained a bit better.

Its in excellent location, very close to local hotels and pubs. Its in the middle of city centre and its pretty clean aswell. I did not find anything wrong with location and cleanliness.

It is not fancy! For the money we paid, it feels like a pretty old building and the beds arent that great. Its a normal hotel with good location. That's it and VERY small rooms.

Room 14 - needs work

Great location, great price. Dining space seats two...at a push. Shower was warm and consistent. Not so much street noise in this room.

Room 14 this week. Not one of their best. TV didn't work. Room was cold and although there was an electrical heater, it produced a different kind of warmth to a radiator. The oven glass door has been broken and is missing. The toaster is on a high shelf when plugged in, which makes it difficult to use. There were only two sockets by the bed and one had some strange electrical equipment that I didn't feel I could unplug. So with my remaining plug, I had to choose between the bedside lamp and my phone. There was only a bedside space on one side. Like all these rooms, I don't feel entirely secure not being able to double lock my door so I end up having to barricade myself in.

Never choose this hotel anymore the worst hotel room ever

I didn’t like anything this time the worst hotel room ever

The room wasn’t clean enough and bad smelly . I did try to contact them because the room frizzing no heating at all and I couldn’t sleep at all. The worst pillow ever not comfortable at all

As a regular, my reviews of here are getting predictable...same problems most of the time.

I stay here every week so this week...room 12. Which I think is an identical shape to one on the 1st floor. Away from the noise...yay. Accessible toaster...yay. Good internet and a telly with terrestrial channels...yay.

This seems to happen more often than not, my door code doesn't work. And I get cross. And the help comes from offsite and isn't always instant, which is not what you need at the end of a long day. If they could just fix this, my reviews would increase no end. Other than that...this room is fine for one but would be a squeeze for two. The mattress springs have gone. I wish the door had a chain or a double lock to make me feel more secure rather than having to fashion something out of what's available...this time it was the wardrobe door and a phone cord. No plug for the sink. The shower could do with a deep clean, there's black mould in places. No shower gel, just shampoo and conditioner.

Great Stay in a Convenient Location

I had a pleasant stay at this property during my recent trip. I especially loved the location, it offered easy access to town and was close to shops and eateries, which made getting around really convenient. I also appreciated that the building had an elevator, so I didn’t have to struggle with my suitcases. Check-in was smooth overall. Although the initial door code provided was incorrect, the host quickly rectified it and sent a new code right away, making it easy for me to access the property without further delay. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay. I’d be happy to return in the future.

Good central Southampton apartment

Excellent location in the centre of Southampton. Surprisingly easy coded check in. Great kitchenette included for the price.

Little cold despite plug in heater. And obviously a bit noisy at night being in centre of town. If heating and soundproofing was addressed, this would be an incredible little accommodation.

Great location and the room was clean and tidy with a central location.

The only issue was that it was on the first floor and below must have been the laundry room and at 7am the room vibrated with the washing being out on.

Think twice.

Great location easy to find. Lift was a relief with the luggage.

Loos sheet on the bed not fitted, there were disgusting stains on the mattress and because the sheet didn't fit you could see them and ended up lying directly on them. Mattress was awful, luckily only a 2 night stay before our cruise. Shower was broken so did not stay up you had to hold it by hand. The lino had huge tears in it. I honestly feel a refund would be due but I can't be bothered with the argument.

Does the job for the money, just about.

Great location for work, reasonably priced. Nice having a TV and good speed wifi. Nice facilities in the room - iron, heater, toaster, etc.

I was in a room on the front and it was noisy, my sleep was disturbed a couple of times by service vehicles and shouting. The wifi cut out a couple of times, which was annoying but not the end of the world. The heating in the room didn't work but they did supply an electric heater. My room was quite small. Maybe ok for a solo traveller but a couple would struggle I think.

Mattress was extremely poor and when you moved you felt the base of the bed. pillows very poor and thin no protector and unclean. and Bathroom lots of mould. Flooring ripped and a trip hazard

The location is central In the heart of the city

The apartment was very disappointing. No furniture, no bedside tables. One lamp between the two rooms. Decorating left a lot to be desired. Had to plug kettle and toaster on the floor in the kitchen as no sockets on worktops. Oven door wouldn’t open as hitting the door frame. Couldn’t close the windows in the upstairs bedroom. All windows filthy. Very noisy outside too. Lots of other problems too many to mention

This apartment served it’s purpose!

The space was very good size. So there is potential to improve this apartment. Toilet paper quality was excellent.

There was no table for two people to use. A study desk jammed near the bed could be replaced with a proper small table. There was only one chair. There was no soundproofing or ceiling fans/air conditioning. And it was very noisy on both days and nights we stayed. We were forewarned but it was really noisy still inside the unit. The kitchen was missing a few necessities like tea towel for drying the dishes or can opener.

Fine for the price.

The location is excellent and right next to a decent car park. Check in was easy.

There was a really strong smell of smoke in the room the whole time and it was even stronger in the bathroom. The mattress was an awful quality and considering it was such a warm day/evening, there was no fan. The room was run down and needs a little TLC.

Convenient location in central Southampton

The apartment was located on a busy corner of a walking district. It was convenient to shops/restaurants and walk to the horizon cruise port.

Folks talking on the street below the apt. until midnight. There were a few house keeping items I brought to the attention of the landlord.

Everything . It was not as advertised. We were allocated room 4 but they changed us to room 1 just before we arrived . And it was just awful . It was just at entrance more like an old shop that they had just thrown in a bed to make it look like a room . It was non liveable. Nothing was fitted no electric sockets . It was filthy And smelt of mildew nothing like stated as a bed sit not kitted out at all . There was one mug and a glass . Bedside lamps were useless because there was no sockets anywhere . Where we rang to complain she said she tought it was finished . She offered a 50 percent refund or we could find our own accommodation which was totally hard to find as every place totally booked up . We ended up just lying ontop of bed using towels to cover us as u could not use the bed duvet and pillow inside covers were just stained and filthy flies dead everywhere , definitely needs to follow your so called cleaner

The house was very small with very poor finishes. The TV didn't work, the door didn't close properly and slammed constantly during the night. No bedside table, no dining table, no chairs.

Good localisation in city center, easy access to the property (self checking by using a code for the doors) and to the rooms (presence of an elevator).

Floor sticky, apartment not really clean (presence of mold in the bathroom and dust in the property), temperature of the shower unstable (sometimes very hot and then cold) as well as pressure, head of shower broken and shower not draining.
