About this house rental

Summary:
Stunning cottage home set privately with its own small roadside garden in the heart of 18th century Inveresk. The home is spacious & entered via its own private front door. Large living eating and dinning room & separate kitchen, the space is ample for 3 adults. 1 main bedroom with a supering bed & on upper floor there is single bed over looking sitting area. Edinburgh city centre easily reached. The internationally renowned garden at Shepherd House is accessible for guests.

Remote self check in. Private front door, not shared with other people. We use a digital lock that’s disinfected down for every guest

Traditionally furnished sitting-room with gas stove and dinning area overlooking Shepherd House Garden.Well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, induction hob, fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.Refurbished bathroom/ W.C with bath and walk in shower.Large kingsize bedroom and wardrobe.Steep stairs to gallery with extra single bed

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire cottage via the cottages private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
All shops -Tesco, Boots, Restaurants, take-aways etc in Musselburgh or nearby in trendy Portobello. My favourite ice cream shop is found in Musselburgh, its a must when staying at Shepards cottage. The ready access to the beaches and to the countryside of East Lothian combined with easy access to Edinburgh ensures a fabulous holiday experience.

Getting Around:
Edinburgh can be reached by car or bus (park and ride) in 40 mins and by train from Wallyford in 11 minutes.

The adjoining gardens and resident white doves were beautiful. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Edinburgh is just a short train ride away.

Surprised that is was easy to find. Surprised that there was and INCREDIBLE garden! Surprised that the owners were present and Delightful! Surprised at the Charming town of Musselburg! Surprised at the DELICIOUS mussels we ate in Musselburg! I could go on but, I think I’ve made my point, not to mention how much we LOVED Edinburgh!!!
