We had a lovely stay overall. The location was peaceful and family-friendly, and the caravan itself was comfortable and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our time there and appreciated the quiet surroundings after a long day of exploring.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was quite frustrating. It seemed there had been no proper communication with the landlord, so we weren’t told which caravan was ours, and after a long journey, the waiting and confusion were very tiring. Also, I was expecting clean bedsheets to be provided, but sadly, that wasn’t the case.

Great Caravan

The caravan was spotlessly clean, master bedroom was massive and had a toilet in it. Shower was great !!! Good sized living room and kitchen. The basics like fairy liquid, cleaning products and tea coffee and sugar provided which if you were on a budget helps. The on site shop was a 40 second walk away. Not too far to walk from main entrance . Owners on hand via mobile if any issues.

The only negatives were No WIFI No instructions on how to work the cooker or heating but the saving grace was an air frier 😀

A great-value place for 4-6 people to stay near Edinburgh

Lots of space, a great shower, efficient oven, decent-sized fridge, bbq

No wifi, which was a nuisance, as I needed to do a bit of research while I was away, so I had to go off-site. Also, not enough utensils in the kitchen (only one knife, which was fine for cutting bread, but not much good for tomatoes! I also think the bedlinen and pillows in the master could be upgraded - it all felt a bit old.

The caravan was great, and had what we needed for our family of 4. It was clean and spacious, and bed linen was provided. The hosts communicated well in advance about needing to bring our own towels (although we forgot to bring a tea-towel!)

This is no fault of the hosts, but the website for the caravan site seems misleading as it refers to a free swimming pool. We were disappointed to learn on arrival that we would have to pay £45 per adult and £22 per child to get a pass in order to swim in the pool at the campsite (or to use any of the other campsite facilities). But on the positive side the beach is very close and we were able to swim briefly in the cold sea instead!

Really nice and well kept accommodation , had all we needed and very friendly people also I ran the marathon so the location was amazing for that but everything was great too
