Magdalene budget guest house

All good

Heating is the issue . We could not sleep properly. Rest all is fine

Everywhere in the property was very clean. The host responded promptly to questions and was very helpful. He sent me guidance on how to access the property the day before I arrived, not a few hours before like some other private hosts, and this made a big difference. He also left a crate of free water bottles in the hall for guests to take, which I appreciated. Duddingston is a quiet area and this helped me sleep. When I booked, I knew it was a distance outside Edinburgh city centre. The guest house is close to Brunstane train station, which is one stop away from Edinburgh Waverley: trains are every 30 mins during daytime and every hour in the evening. I should probably have looked at buses as big double-deckers seem to go down Duddingston Crescent very regularly. I couldn't see anywhere in the area to get food but there are two convenience stores at the end of Magdalene Place and the guesthouse has a microwave for guests to use, so this was fine.

The behaviour of other guests, which the host can't be held responsible for!

Kedves háziúr! Tiszta szoba,fürdőszoba!Kávé,tea a szobában. Jól megközelíthető busszal,közel van a buszmegállóhoz!

Sajnos zajos a ház,a többi lakótól éjszaka nehezen lehet aludni, mert behallatszik a szobába a mozgásuk!

Tomas is friendly but doesn’t speak English, close to city and good price

Room 5 is next to main door, fridge and microwave and furthest from bathroom, other guests were noisy throughout the night
