Had a lovely time! Sarah gave us warm welcome and showed us around, also she gave us great advice about the area, restaurant recommendations etc.
The entire place is really clean, and well maintained, Sarah was taking care of everything, collecting our bin and offered to change towels etc.
Also the shared shower + toilet is very clean and comfortable to use.
The location is great, well connected to city center, and easy to head out for daily trips, city attractions etc.
Would recommend and will come again whenever I’m in the city.

Sarah was an amazing host. Communication was excellent. The house and room were lovely. There is a bus stop about a hundred yards down the road that gets you into the centre of Edinburgh in around 20 minutes. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Portobello beach front. Can strongly recommend the Portobello Tap for excellent beer and burgers, and a trad music night on Sundays.

We had a warm welcome from Sarah and a very comfortable stay at Eden Villa. We knew beforehand that the bathroom was shared and had been in two minds whether to book because of that, It actually worked out fine and we only had one tiny bathroom clash with the other guests. One small suggestion would be to have a sink in the room or at least somewhere to rinse your mugs and put your used tea bags. This was a tiny inconvenience however. We would highly recommend Eden Villa. With frequent buses and Portabello high street and beach both a short walk away, it really is a great location.
